This post is not to start any arguing about helmet usage. It is simply information from new research published this year about reduced neck injury in motorcycle accidents because of helmet usage. To Verizon Wireless!! I switched back to using my Omnia phone last month and about had a heart attack when I got the bill, $950 dollars in usage charges all while not using it for anything internet related. Took two hours, but they did credit all of the usage charges back to me. Sometimes good things happen! :happy65:

Does anybody have a 'peak' amperage usage on a stock (factory) Venture (2007) I'm not at all familiar with the stator type generating system I've installed driving lights and would like to start stratigically placing some LED's. I realize most led have a milliamp draw but am concerned with light usage already on the bike. -
Sorry about the scare folks. I've had a bit of trouble with the server over the past few days. About 4 times a day, I get an email letting me know that the CPU usage is high. I login and it all looks normal, no problems that I can find. I was working with our host company this morning and they were tweaking the MYSQL settings to try and find the problem. Apparently we tweaked when we should have twacked or some technical term like that. Anyway, things are restored and back to normal for now. Just have to see if I continue to get the high CPU usage error.

Anybody else have this? Rumor has it my dsl provider will impose a 5GB per month usage cap starting in December or January. That doesn't sound like much bandwidth to me considering I have 5 computers ( wife and kids ) using the service. Someone is usually online 24/7. I have a speedstream 6520 router. My question is how can I monitor my bandwidth usage just to know what my monthly activity is before a suprise bill arrives later?:mo money:
