  7. I'm goin to something called "Too Broke for Sturgis" , as the name implies I don't have the time nor the funding to do Sturgis....ONE of these yrs I'll make it. But there's a rumor that some southern Az ppl will be coming up North to the cool pines as well, a good time to be had by all I'm told.:cool10:

  10. I just wanted to take a minute to say HI to Y'all, it's been awhile since I've even had time to check email, let alone read all the good info on here..... working 60-100 miles from the house eats up my downtime. hoping to get some carb parts to get the 'ol couch up on the road soon, before monsoon season makes riding miserable:fingers-crossed-emo.......My bobber FINALLY passed emisions, now I get to dial the carbs back in so it'll run right.... any how I'm off to do errands again.......

  13. well all I can add is 89a will take you some gorgeous countryside, twisty curves no extra charge.... LOL Ride safe, and enjoy your trip. I've been to SLC and Provo a handful of times, but we always swing thru Vegas, Going thru Page is a way better ride (purdy)...
  14. You guys can ride when ever you want too, but us women are under the control of our men, most of the time. I should have gotten my license and my own bike but I did not, because of a lot of reasons I suppose. I admire any woman who rides her own bike. Just wish I had done so along time ago, then I would not have this problem now.:confused24: There's no reason You can't ride your own starter bike, take MS course and then you will enjoy the freedom of riding/ clearing your head that we all love so much. It's never too late to start riding ...or going to school. The whole testosterone thing is something to look at too....something is definitely bothering your riding partner.... HOSS

  18. Hey Yammer Dan, IDK what it costs.... but they ALWAYS spray block with a sealer before paint color on the jobsite........FWIW. Congrats on ur current progress, and an airless is definitely the way to go even if ya pay a house painter to swing by an spray it............gotta love ur patients and determination there bro

  20. here's an interesting article on riding on windy days... http://www.soundrider.com/archive/sa.../dang_wind.htm So when I was in my 20's, I noticed is didn't matter whether I was on my XL500 or my FZR750, comingg from Sab Diego to Phoenix on I-8 they thing that helped ne battle the strong side gusts was to stay loose.... That was an excellent article too:322:

  22. Well darn this worthless thread..............NO pics, LOL.... when I read a similar thread on the silver '99 RSV, the WWW absatively/ posilutely look much sharper vs. regular ol black walls.... I only wish I had a pic to show ya my WWW..... LOL I have an '84 that I'm probably goin to get ww's when I go for tires., They seem to be available in the most popular brands.....that was my .02 fwiw

  24. If they can make fwd controls for a Virago... I believe you can make up something for most any bike. If Mike isn't the fabricator type, I'm sure there's a good ol boy near ya that can figure out something to fix Y'all up...
