  1. Have fork, will travel.
  2. Hey Larry, give me an address if you can so I can plug it in to the GPS. See Ya there.
  3. Yes you can cut them. The one from Ikea I got was enough for both seats. I took an old T-shirt and cut that as a templet. To clean, just throw it in the washer. Good luck!
  4. Hi Larry, Let me know when & where to meet Saturday Morning. See Ya soon.
  5. Hey Big Mike, I have only the back end of my HD pipes drilled out. And I was thinking of drilling out the front also and wondered how big of a difference there is? I like the sound now, but I was hoping that a little more bark would quite the little chirping noise I'm getting. Do you have both ends drilled out? Thanks, BigD
  6. Count me in Don. Rain or shine!
  7. Hi Goose, I would like to take a few inches off my windshield. Please pencil me in if you have the time. It sounds like you might be a pretty busy guy. I'm planning on new tires later this year, and I would really like to watch or help you change a few tires out. Thanks
  8. I use pledge also on my bike, my question is that does any one use off brands like found at the dollar stores? I was just wondering if these would work as well. Thanks
  9. Don't worry about it Don. You did what you thought was best at the time, and you're doing the right thing now by cutting your losses early. I know some people would waste a lot of time and money before admitting that they made a mistake. That's why your our leader!
  10. Thanks Phil, I'll check out the local dealership.
  11. I just installed the Harley lights on the back of my RSV. What a difference in the quality of lighting now in the back. My question is, I would like to add chrome visors on the new HD tail lights to match the stock tail lights visors I have now. Does anyone know where I could get visors for the HD lights? Or there HD part numbers? Thanks Guys.
  12. I like Roadkill's idea. I'm on this site everyday and would be more than willing to commit myself to an Annual fee. The knowledge and ideas I receive from the members here are priceless. Count me in Don on whatever you decide.
  13. NICE!!
  14. Thanks for bring your meter Dave, I really think I need my CB checked also.
  15. So glad to see you made it home safely. It was fun going on the trip with you, thanks for all the updates. Enjoy the Bike.
  16. I'm looking forward to this same trip the second week in September, so I will follow this post closely also. Has any one been there at that time of year and remembers what the weather was like? The buffalo ribs sound interesting.
  17. I'm planning a trip down there next month, and plan on riding the Dragon. I will for sure stop by the Alamo steakhouse. Looking forward to about 4 days in the area.
  18. Congratulations you guys, I hope you have a wonderful time in Vegas. BigD
  19. I have the same on as Dray. Works great with coffee mugs, and holds any large fast food drinks. I also have one mounted on the passenger grab rails for the better half. Can't beat it for $20.00.
  20. I saw where Bmxndad mentioned that he let his air out of the front and rear shocks. I have never done this, is this important as not to damage the shocks? Thanks

    Tires?

I have around 5000 miles on my stock Dunlap's now (06). How many miles should I expect to put on them before they need to be replaced? I will most likely switch to Avon's at that time. Thanks for your thoughts.
  22. Logging onto this site is like checking my email each morning when I get to work. Much thanks to you Don, and to all the people that add so much information, humor, and ideas to this great site.
  23. I ride with mine most all the time. Ikea has sheep skin remnants that can be cut to cover both seats, for only $20.00. I'm sure you could order one on-line if you don't have one by you.
  24. Does anyone have the Ride Like a Pro video "The ride to Sturgis"? And would you want to sell it?
  25. I agree with Pilot. Too many $$ to spend to have it fall off by saving a few $$. Enjoy your GPS, now go and get lost and not worry about finding your way home.
