  3. Goose, I'll be doing mine in the next month or so, I'll take a bunch of pics to add to your write up.
  4. Yep, Brad there's four major bases here and everybody is building something I think. Go to http://www.usajobs.gov You'll still be very close to Houston. But with all the shipping in Houston I would think they need welders too. One thing I found in TX is there is always seems to be work.
  5. Jude just started a new job so we won't be able to make it to the Meet this year in Arkansas. I had reserved a king room at the Hub. Anybody wanting it PM me and we can switch it to your name.
  6. Do an update to the sofware on the Zumo using the webupdater And select other updates. That should update the bluetooth driver on the Zumo. I still have a problem from time to time on my HTC Touch Pro. The phone is JUNK ! Doin a hard reset on the phone fixes it for about a month but I lose everything on the phone and have to reinstall.
  7. You riding in a crosswind ? Or is there a higher than normal crown in the road you notice it on.
  8. If the brakes are actually dragging you need to pull the calipers to see why.
  9. Na, Its an age thing, The bikes get heavier the older you get...
  10. I've had both and choose the Avons over the Commanders after I wore them for a while. The Commanders are a noisy tire in the curves. They are noisy brand new so I knew it wasn't the bike. I have tried everything but Pirelli's and keep coming back to the Avon's. But like most things tires are a matter of personal choice.
  11. They are 25 MM shims. I have never used anything bigger the 285 and nothing smaller than 255. So some of those in that kit will be kinda of useless. Because they are used by many different bikes, you can get them from more than just the Yamaha shop. This link is for a Sudco shim kit and it lists a lot of bikes: http://www.sudco.com/25valveshims.html Here is a partial listing - I think some Kawasakis may use them too: Honda CB750, CB750C, CB750F, CB750K, CB750SC dohc (79-83) CB900, CB900C, CB900F, CB1000C, CB1100F, CBX (all) Triumph Hinckly triples and fours Speed Triple, Tiger, Daytona, Trophy, Sprint Yamaha SRX250, XT250 TT350, XT350 (86-00) XJ600 Seca II (92-98) XVZ12 XVZ13 Venture Royale Royal Star (83-93) XVZ1200, XVZ12 VMX1200 V-Max (85-02) Vmax, VMX12 FJ1100, FJ1200 (84-93)
  12. They are 25 MM shims. Same as in this auction which has Triumph as one of the makes. I have never used anything bigger the 285 and nothing smaller than 255. So some of those in that kit will be kinda of useless.Which also means you can get them at your local Honda ,Truimph, dealers .I think Kawasaki also uses them. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Honda-CBX-Valve-Shim-Shims-2-50-to-3-10-25mm-size_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQhashZitem5d256f0eccQQitemZ400059993804QQptZMotorcyclesQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories Honda CB750, CB750C, CB750F, CB750K, CB750SC dohc (79-83) CB900, CB900C, CB900F, CB1000C, CB1100F, CBX (all) Triumph Hinckly triples and fours Speed Triple, Tiger, Daytona, Trophy, Sprint Yamaha SRX250, XT250 TT350, XT350 (86-00) XJ600 Seca II (92-98) XVZ12 XVZ13 Venture Royale Royal Star (83-93) XVZ1200, XVZ12 VMX1200 V-Max (85-02) Vmax, VMX12 FJ1100, FJ1200 (84-93)

  17. I heard that. I even have an indicator light. I still keep trying to go to 6th. That just goes to show it don't matter who makes the bike they don't put enough gears on them for us.I mean I still got 5 fingers left to count with:whistling:

  23. That's what I posted. Just order 90154-05013-00 SCREW, BINDING That's the part number from the fiche. If you'll look at part 13 on the drawing. Then look at the plastic piece its going into. that's the piece just under your floor board. The pic is showing a bolt but the parts list says "Screw,Binding" Which is what you want.
  24. I'm sitting out her in the garage and looking at the bike Its either 13 or 30 I thought 9 or 10 but those are in the upper black cover 90154-05013-00SCREW, BINDING 13 or 30 are the same thing just different side.
