Glad I got to meet Y'All. We found the same storm. Bet Y'All stayed drier than us.

Count me and Shirley in. Provinos is our favorite. -
I just put my RSVP in for me and Shirley. We don't get to make alot of these things. Looking forward to meeting Y'All.

Most are just waves/greetings. Now if they are patting the top of their helmet, expect to see a traffic cop very shortly. Pushing downward with the palm of the hand is "slow down" Some sort of trouble ahead. My wife waves when I'm too busy to wave.

I always wear a helmet even when it's not required. I'm alive today because I had a helmet on in 1984. Besides, if I didn't wear a helmet now my head would get burned.

Thats the one I have. Nice hitch and it comes with the wireing harness.

Looks like there still not bright enough. -
So very, very sorry to hear this. Shirley and I will include you and your family, especially you sister, in our prayers.

Key words there were "sounds like". Tho I'm not positive, I,ve heard the T-rex uses the VMax engine and rear end.

That sounds like a T-Rex. http://www.trexcampagnabroker.com/

I doubt the weight loss is from a lack of nutrition. More likely it's the work/stress levels keeping his/their weight down. These guys cary a ton on their backs every where they go. And just imagin the stress of your life being on the line 24/7. Having to self fund ANY gear is another issue.

My other bike is an 04 Honda VTX1300. It has served well as a touring bike for over 70000 miles. It is now my daily solo ride. I don't see myself ever selling it http://venturerider.org/forum/picture.php?albumid=517&pictureid=5238

The best I've done is about 42 mpg. But I just love getting on the throttle. The more I ride this bike, the more I love it.

Heading to Helen for BBQ at N. Ga. BBQ on Saturday. Anybody hungry?

Wood working. Everything from general carpentry to turning wine stoppers. I've built bedroom suits, cabinets, shelving, end tables. coffee tables, file cabinets, armiours, jewlery trees, serving trays, turned bowls, additions on the house along with decks, etc. Used to play golf, but if it's nice enough to play golf, I'd rather ride. Used to play in a band but that took too much time from the family. Used to dabble in photography but found the cost prohibitive. Got a new digital SLR for Christmas so trying to find my skills again. Travel. But we do most of that on the bike so we're right back to my main (besides Shirley) passion.

Merry Christmas everyone!!!!

Anything Shirley cooks from scratch. She loves to cook and is really good at it so picking a single favorite leftover is tough, but I'll go with her beef stew. It's actually better the second day. Thats the way I thought of meatloaf till I had Shirleys.

If you could trade your Venture for a Goldwing
Motorcycle Mike replied to zooer's topic in Watering Hole
I could have bought anything I wanted when I bought the RSV, so I did. No wing envy here. -
Do you run your passing lights all the time
Motorcycle Mike replied to heatonmt's topic in Watering Hole
Always, along with the headlight modulator. -
I have one. I HATE it. I quit wearing it. Shirley has one and loves it. Helmets are very personal. You can't go by what someone else likes.

How do you guys store stuff on an RSV?
Motorcycle Mike replied to elmicko's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Storage is no problem. http://venturerider.org/forum/picture.php?albumid=517&pictureid=4475 Velcro holds the garage door opener on top the brake resevor. The sun glasses stay on or I put them in the trunk.- 22 replies
