  5. Ok guys here's my question, I got a stealer putting on a new warranty rear shock and got to talking about carb sync, poping and rk muffs. He's telling me I HAVE to rejet the carbs and I am looking at 300 - 350 to have it done. Pretty sure I read many post about rk muffs and NOT re jetting, so I guess I am looking for your opinions? road king muff's to rejet or not?
  6. I have to say for the price I like my roadking pipes. Quiet enough for long hauls and drop a gear and get on her and they come to life. For the mix of loud when I want it, quiet when I dont there perfect! Just my

  18. dont waste your money i tried the same one and it lite up for about 2 seconds then died!! Ruturned it and found a nice 15 inch led on ebay with shipping was 26 and it is great!! Just my 2 cents....
  19. I have to say that stretch of M-119 just north of Petoskey is about the best I have seen just went through that way sunday daughter and I had our yearly camping trip on the bike and it is a very cool cruise but I will say watch the speed limit signs theres a couple spots "the devils elbow" that will scare the **** out of you if your not watching but I love it probably ride it 7-10 times a year late fall is the best time. shoot me a line when your in the neighborhood I might ride part with ya if you dont mind the company.... Well keep it in mind next time your through this way it is so worth the time!!!!!
  20. Have to admit I drove semi for a few years and really learned to love the bug eyes, after putting them on my bike I can honestly say, for me, its the best accessory I have put on it. I still do my shoulder checks but while riding my eyes bounce from one mirror, to the road, then another mirror, then the road, then the dash, then the road etc. So I like being able to see whats in my blind spot! Mine were 4 bucks but have the same swivel base and there great! And for me, being a larger guy the only thing it really covers up on the reg mirror is my shoulder which I dont need to see anyways. just my 2 cents
  21. I have had mine a few years same harbor freight deal and i have never had a problem pulling it without the swivel, years back a buddy had one with the swivel and he clipped a curb, well because of the swivel it totally flipped the trailer and cause one heck of a wreck ( he was fine, bike and trailer werent) so my personal feelings are i would rather the hitch bind if needed and keep everything rubber side down then run the chance of flipping it just my 2 cents
