Well my daughter and I braved the 48 degree, raining weather for a nice afternoon ride to Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore Park. Well looking for the main sign, I even asked a ranger he said there are several signs for the different areas but not a main sign. He assured me its a national park. So we stopped at the sand dune hill climb and grabbed a pic, then headed down the 7 miles scenic drive which was incredible best 5 bucks I ever spent. So I figure this should count but let me know what you all think!!? And I will set the next target then.... http://www.nps.gov/slbe/index.htm this is a link to the park site

The Black Pearl saw it at the dealer and that was the first thing both my wife and I said so it stuck and lucky enough BKPRL was availible for a plate so she will always be the pearl!! lol

Mine is a ram mount off the front brake res mount and it looks and works great there out of the way but close at finger tips just my 2 cents (got it cheap on ebay)

Nice one scott kinda figured someone living near one may get this quick but hey short hunt or long it got you out riding didnt it!! Im heading to the upper peninsula in 2 weeks to go wander around see what the target is by then....

Sorry it took me a little guys, wanted to reread the thread didnt want to redo a old target. So heres what I got, You, Your Bike, and a Prison. Not just a local cop shop a true prison and I think we are gonna need to see a sign and the building in the pic shouldnt be a hard one we have several here in michigan so good luck to all.

Ok guys here it is, pic isnt great it was a iphone but there are 3 sailboats and one powerboat to my left in the pic I think you have to zoom in to see it so let me know if this counts and I will set the next target...

Just wanted to thank everyone on here and for all the great information, picked up some blue leds (figured the black pearl needed some ocean) so I spent today tearing her down and running wires all over the place lolol it was fun and all this great info is so worth the 12 bucks!! took some crappy garage picks wanted to take a spin but raning hard tonight but here they are anyways.... :banana:

Happen to be digging around on criagslist and found a guy selling a nice corbin seat, to rich for my blood but after talking to him he had a venture he just sold and has the yamaha rear rack and the yamaha led spoiler in prefect condition he says, BOTH FOR $80.00!!! going downstate to pick them up this weekend cant wait to get them on the Pearl!! always like feeling like I got a deal :banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana::banana:

Michigan is a helmet state but through other states over the years I have had the chance but can honestly say once in 12 years of riding I took it off on a back country road in Wisconsin for about 15 minutes didnt feel right to me other than that always wearing my shorty..... -
well got home and did some looking, also forgot to say I plugged my ais this weekend too, but at idle I hear the spuddering, just slightly and its all from the left rk muff, talked to the dealer and I am gonna change the fuel filter and check the plug wires(thanks for tip) and see what that does.... if no better dealer is gonna check it out... Im running out of ideas

ok so on your questions yes to it all but i had the stealer do the carb sync ($50) so i could argue and yes it was a lil rough before hand it seems better but even with higher rpms if i am not really giving it the juice it feels like its spuddering a bit so not sure

Ok guys got another question for you all, recently did a bunch of work to my 05 midnight ( plugs air filters carb sync oil change tires brakes) and i am noticing when its cold and i choke her to warm it up it isnt smooth, and only when cruising not under accel the engine seems to "studder" just a lil bit was expecting it to run smooth at say 40 riding through town but has a spudder maybe is a better word, you hit the gas and she seems fine, am gonna change the fuel filter but wonder if you guys have any other suggestions??

Wow what a weekend!! decide to address some things on the Pearl, and well ended up doing more than planned..... New dunlop404's front and rear, new brakes all the way around, spark plugs, air filters, sync'ed the carbs, plugged the ais unit, changed the oil, and added a lil more chrome! all and all a good weekend other that the wifey's claim I went MIA. But anyways no more popping AT ALL, she purrrrrrrssss!!! now to put some more miles on her thanks to everyone for all the great write ups YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!

I did the same conversion to the rk pipes I took the heat sheilds off the stock pipes and pop riveted them back on the rk's look great sound great
