Nope, can't make it then, but we are still planning a week down in the area for the week of the end of June/beginning of July stationed in Reading. We plan on visiting the Poconos, NJ, Md, and Delaware. Maybe you can set up a ride for one of those weekends. Also, we would be glads to spend some time with any of you guys!!

He would really freak if he saw how far I'm taking Goldie down this year, Mark! I am totally replacing the front suspension and complete brake system, and replacing the stator as well! So far every spring the bike has been torn down to a near skeleton. Ask Marcarl , Wizard765 and JGorom what it looked like last spring when I had emergency surgery... Are you coming to Green Acres this Saturday??

i've been contemplating that same question myself. I was thinking a midnight blue with either lighter blue or white highlights, or something in the maroon/purple family. I also thought about a white bike but not sure how a 1st gen would look white unless it was a pearlish white with red and blue highlights...

I had recently purchased a used clutch master cylander from jbike parts aka Fine Cycle of New Port Richey Florida, and when I received it, I found out someone had butchered the round area where it mounts on to the handlebar. Looked like swomeone had fit it onto a 1" bar. The whole thing was spray painted black, even the sight window. It was sold "as is" but I dropped a line to the dealer. I received a response literraly a minute later with an apology, and he gave me a full refund immediately!!! As far as I'm concerned, that particular dealer is a class act and trys extremly well to please!! If you ever see anything advertised from him, buy with complete confidence that you are dealing with a reputible and honest dealer!! So very refreshing a change from dealers that don't care about anything but your money...

As far as the tires go, unless you have extra money, the labor to have the wheels removed gets expensive, probably along the lines of an extra $100 or so...
