  1. Uhhhhh, I ain't bidding on that one, it's all yours Crash...
  2. Front brake Master Cylinder for a MK1?? There is no guts in it but was honed. I have 3 rebuilt Mk2 masters for myself and this is taking up room! Yours for the asking...
  3. Mk2 Right front caliper?? This is surplus to need from all the calipers I accumulated over the last 2 years. Along with all the others, it has been disassembled and cleaned, honed, and pistons polished. I did NOT install new seals on this one but did pick out the best from all the used seals I had. It's yours for the asking as I now have 3 complete sets all rebuilt. *@#&% seal sets are EXPENSIVE!! Help clear out my garage...
  4. Jusy thought you (and others) would like to see how that clutch slave cylinder that you donated for the project bike came out. Cleaned it up and honed the bore and ran a tap thru the threads. Polished the piston and buffed out the housing a tad. Reassembled and Viola...
  5. Well, it is a real fish...
  6. Still up for grabs, and cluttering up my desk...
  7. My '84 has about 15,000 miles on it and I get around 38 MPG... There have been some members that have gotten around 200,000 miles out of theirs, so you have nothing to worry about for a long time!
  8. It might be time for a complete flush of the cooling system, something that should be done every 4 - 5 years but many times isn't. There is also a possibility of a blown head gasket. Take a look at the oil and see if there is any evidence of water in there. Yes, if you are low on colant to begin with, it leads to even more coolant being blasted out from overheating. Definately check out the fan circuit and make sure the sensor is working...
  9. Not for me, but actually I like it... Sort of like a model T, eh?
  10. Squid beat me to it! There is a set of contacts on the start switch that disconnects the headlight when you press the start button... What you need to do is look for 12 volts from ground at the fuse and work forward to the ign switch, dimmer switch, etc.
  11. Lets just say that on a 26 year old bike, if those are the original wires, they should have been replaced years ago. There is a set of connectors from the ignition sensors that sometimes gives problems. Is your tach reading OK? that may be another aid to finding out the problem. There is also a possibility your Ignition Control Module is acting up, not suppling proper spark at the right time...
  12. Looks kinda Fugly to me, but the concept is cool...
  13. Jeff, it's a 3.7V 900mAh made by digipower their PN BP-PN05. I don't understand the word "buy" you used in your post though...
  14. When Circuit City closed I bought a battery I had hoped would fit my little HD camera but it was the wrong one. Close but no cigar. Soooo, I have a replacement for the CGA-S005A battery available for the asking. Either that or I go out and buy yet another camera that it will fit, like I need another camera... If you can use this send me a PM with your address and I wil send it out to you.
  15. They feel just a tad wide to me but that's just me! Swinging a leg over is probably the best way to tel if you would like a xcoot or not...
