  1. Just got one attached to a bib yesterday, so the only thing in there at present is the intercom cord...
  2. And another one bites the dust...
  3. The RTV that holds those funnels into the airbox gets bad after many years. You may want to consider removing the funels and cleaning all the old RTV off and then redoing the rtv...
  4. Really great ride yesterday!! Darn, midicat, wish I would have read this thread before I left. We crossed around noon, and went up the Niagara river route to the falls and stoped in on Dragerman. Really enjoyed setting out on his dock and watching the world go by. Left a little after 2 and headed off to Wayne's. Really glad he was able to fix his transmission shifting problem, and Kudos to the guys on this site steering him in the right direction! I thought for sure he was going to have to tear his transmission out, so I learned something too!! Sleepy2 was also there at Waynes and we had a nice ride to Port Dover, even if it wasn't Friday the 13th. We will definately have to make it there next year in August. Had a giagantic hot dog there, a meal in itself. Also, found a tank bib for the Venture for $100 Cdn! Man, the new scoot is just falling together like magic. Becky bought me some longhorn highway pegs for my birthday Friday. Now if we can just find some nice saheepskins... Finished off the evening with a nice cruise along the lake and a super Strawberry Sunday!! Parted company after gasing up, and at Port Colborne, got to see this huge freighter go past on the canal! Was worth the wait for the bridge to come back down. Of course we had no choice but to wait, but it was gfreat! Finally got home a little after 11. Charlie, we would love to meet you halfway sometime this summer, so maybe we can make plans...
  5. It should, but never had the opportunity of trying it for myself...
  6. Well I reacon Redneck sure answered that question, Pilgrim...
  7. WOW Rooster, that looks terific!!!
  8. Uhhh, a piece of 4X4 and some duct tape???
  9. Whatever... Would be nice to see the guy though!
  10. Yup, pure scuzball!! Big Tom and I were talking about it earlier and we both don't think the guy will live for the 18 years...
  11. Burp!!!! PS Auto Zione was open and now I have Dot4 synthetic fluid...
  12. OK Wayne, we will try to meet you at your place around 1. Charlie, may be a possibility depending on where these guys want to go...
  13. Becky and I are looking for a destination this Sunday. Anybody up for a ride??
  14. I just picked up a pair of rectangular mirrors for $25 for the pair and installed them. 100% improvement over the stock ones...
  15. Praise God Almighty!!! Let the healing continue!
  16. Soo, ahhh, why are you not riding instead of posting??? Yay!!! You're fixed!!
  17. Sooo, I guess you can title this thread "The Fat Lady Is On Stage And Ready To Sing" then... We are all vewry happy for you that this whole ordeal is finally coming to a close, and you all can get on with your lives. Time to heal, Cindi!
  18. Break a leg, Dan!! Oh, wait, you already did... Here's wishes for the best for you, bud!!
  19. I lost my middle toe to infection last year so I know what you will be going thru! I was able to sort of limited walk around after a week or so, and was pretty much healed up after two months. Just follow Doctor's orders and enjoy a month or two of doing nothing but relaxing!! I'll be glad to pray for you! Keep us informed.
  20. They DO take up a chunk of space, and you can get tons more music with a good MP3 or satellite radio and use lots less space. I'm half tempted to remove my CD player, I had no choice, it came with the bike...
  21. OK nowdays just about every laptop haqs built in wireless adapter, but you still need to have a wireless router for home wireless use. They can be has for $50 or so, or less depending on how big an area you have to cover. I have been very happy with my Toshiba but there are a lot to chose from. Consumer Reports gave the Gateway M-152S a "Best Buy" award and lists for $650. Apple is overpriced IMHO. Watch for sales, and don't waste your money on "Extended" warranties...
  22. Taters, you promised NOT to tell!!! Now I'm gonna have to tell Becky about the $20 you slipped in...
  23. Twisted my ankle, won't tell how but a few peole know how. Anyway I'm using a cane for now and hoping things will be better tomorow. It does not look black and blue, but is swelled a small amount. Think I'm going to bed now...
  24. Uhhh, did this happen before or after you used it as a submarine?!!?
  25. Uhhhhh, I'm speachless...
