  7. As far as I can tell the slip ons are just the muffler section that slips on our collectors. Yes there is a couple of places to get new collectors look for the VMax and you will find them but they are very expensive. I would look for a set on ebay or have the collector welded. Jeff
  8. Kit you might want to tell upper management that they need to advertise the Venture alot more and get away from so many star adds. Good luck with the repairs and keep informed Jeff
  9. Bob a drill and easy outs is the proper way to remove the bolts.Take the studs that are left and go to the hardware store and get replacement bolts with allen heads. The original bolts are just for theft proofing of the switch. You do not need to use break off head bolts unless you want to.Some locksmiths carry them but they are a bit pricey. Jeff
  10. Why not get the Local TV station to do a report on this.In Norfolk VA the tv news stations like to get involved in things like this. You can also look at this site to see if there is any helpfull info. http://home.ama-cycle.org/amaccess/laws/result.asp?state=NY Jeff

  12. We got a full sheepskin off of ebay 2 years ago and Mini will sit back there and ride for hours with no complaint.I got a car set of seat beads and cut them down for me.8 to 10 hours with no problems. Jeff
  13. Ronnie I had the same problem with my Palm Pilot not being able to use the 1g Palm said it was because the unit cannot handle the size of the card I am not a computer genius so I just accepted the answer,Wallmart and officmax also sells the 512 cards Jeff
  14. Nope not up north it was at 5 am right here in North east North Carolina (Elizabeth City) February is our coldest month and I ride year round. As for being nuts well do I really need to comment on that? Jeff
  15. I will get a check in the mail in the morning for 3 Don. Thanks Jeff
  16. Mike the stator is an easy change all you need is the stator cover gasket and the middle gear gasket. It would help the removal of the stator screws to have an impact driver but it is not really needed. Also use Yamabond 4 or 7 on the wires and black rubber feedthrough. the stator job start to finish should only take you 1 hour. Jeff
