I have been thinking about cutting a windshield down to 3-4 inches for a summer windshield on my 2000 RSV. Anybody try anything like this? Would like some more wind to keep me cool for summer riding. Bob

We will be heading out to Ozarks the 1st of July, staying at Mountain View for 3-4 days and then on to Eureka Springs for 3-4 days, then down towards Hot Springs, I will be on the Venture and the wife will be on her VTX 1300, hopefully the weather will be nice, if you see a 05 silver Venture pulling a trailer with a ALF doll on the trunk it will be us.

Nothing like screwing up my hunt. It looks like the front wheel bearing is about to come out of my 04 Silverado 4x4. It's a 1500 ext cab series. I will order a bearing or hub assembly tomorrow. Anybody ever change one of these? No garage,cold outside probably snowing and I'm sure I don't have a socket to remove that axle nut with.local garage could probably get to it in 3-4 days at $50 hr.:snow2:

On the show "How it is made" the other night they were showing the manufacturing of a large marine compass. I missed the first part of the show but saw how they mounted the device within a base on four mini shock absorbers. They appeared to be about the diameter of a pencil and probably about 1" long, hard to judge the scale. I am working on something and could use 3-4 of them. Anyone having anything like that or know where I might find something like that. I'm guessing someone in the marine repair/sales. I'm inland and am not into boating so I have no contacts in that field. Would appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks
