  1. Up my what, is that you say? If I wasn't using my whip now you would be in such trouble. Peggy
  2. Usually around 8:30 to 9:30 EST Mama
  3. Well Charlie I am sorry you are feeling down about your rain. We sure need it here in Ohio. Maybe you need to stay on here more and And besides rain is better than the white stuff. Come on to the chat tonight, if you are bored. We will surely entertain you. I'll get out my whip! Peggy
  4. I think the note is a smart idea, however how do we know the thief can read. You might have to draw a picture. Peggy:sign isnt that spec
  5. Fellas isn't America Great, when a man can come on a forum such as this and be happy that he has found the "bra" he has been looking for, I tell you it makes me proud to be an American. Please keep expressing your feminine side guys. We do care if you find that special shade of lipstick..........we really do! Peggy
  6. Very nice Dray! I like it. However, I will just have to stick with my boring Ohio plate. Peggy
  7. Yes we always have our tunes on our I Pod. We like the old tunes, usually a combination of old rock, old country, rock-a-billy, blue grass, and "outlaw" music. We like those old guitar classics too. Nothing better on a long ride. Peggy:guitarist 2:
  8. That one caught my eye too. Really wild color. Looks good though doesn't? Peggy
  9. Charlie that is a very good question. I know I am not really what I would call a risk taker in most situations. As far as accidents or sadly even deaths from motorcycle accidents, they always give me reason to think about the risk. But in the long run I love riding so much, I am willing to roll the dice and keep riding. I believe Ron is an excellent motorcyclist, but I know that does not always make a difference. I am not willing to give it up until we are forced too. We enjoy riding so much and we have that love of riding to share. We have met so many great people because of our love of riding, it would certainly be a life changing decision for us to give it up because of being afraid of the risk. Peggy
  10. Dan I am glad things are getting better for you in all aspects. I think it is great that your leg is so much better. I will be thinking of you riding that fast bike. Just be safe. Mama
  11. Gene I am so sorry to hear about your horrible accident. I only hope that I can find a Hallmark for this problem. I would suggest sitting in a nice warm tub of water. Mama:confused24:
  12. FrankD i was just curious how tall you are? My husband is 6'2" and really was not comfortable with the leg position on the wing. We know it is an excellent bike, but I agree with Eddy we like the classic look of the RSV. And I am sure there are those who perfer the Wing. To each his own! Peggy
  13. Well then to me you are the only true motorcyclist that showed up! The others were wimps. How many actually came? I expect photos! Peggy:wow:
  14. Here is an old 1901 machine that is used to make ice cream. The owner takes it to local Indiana festivals and sells ice cream. It run really nice. It is fun to hear the POW every 3 seconds or so. It has an rpm sensor on it. This man has a number of old motors like this, and he rebuilds them.
  15. Really Pretty Toy! Looks like new. Ride Safe! Peggy
  16. Hey nice bike Dan, Ride safely. I am happy for you! Mama

    Sad News

What a terrible loss of life. I will pray for his family. I also am praying for the safety of all motorcyclists and our members here. Peggy
  18. I have several reactions to that. How in the world did they think that up? It was amazing for sure. As a woman, all I could think of was I sure would not want to have to clean that up, which sort of spoils the whole idea doesn't it! Very interesting. Peggy
  19. Thanks for sharing your photos. Very nice horses. Peggy
  20. Yammer Dan, The check is in the mail. Thank you for your support! We bought our 99RSV used, but it only had 4000 miles on it. We now have 38,000. No problems with it at all. We wash it, change the oil, get new tires when needed, and buy new air for the tires. Other than that we have been trouble free. Peggy
  21. Ron and I were riding to Lawrenceburg, Indiana yesterday for their annual Fall Fest. We left home around 3PM in order to see the car show. As we pulled into a parking lot, I look around as I am getting off the bike, and much to my surprise there is a beautiful 2000 red RSV pulling up near us. I tried to hold in my obvious excitement, because we all know this is an unusual event unless you just pulled into a VR Rally or Meet & Eat. We were fortunate to meet BikeRider59 who lives in Lawrenceburg. A very nice guy. I am still excited. Nice meeting you Charlie. Peggy
  22. Hi Honey, I have had trouble occasionally with getting chat to come up. Usually I just go to Mozilla or Opera rather than IE and get on that way. I hope you get back on soon. We miss you. Peggy
  23. My husband retiired 16 years ago, and I am just tired. I do not think that I will ever be retired. I just do not see it in my future, Besides I believe that work keeps you young in a sense. I am a person who needs a schedule. I think it helps me to get all the things that I need to do done. Excuse me while I go lay down. Peggy:cool10:
  24. I saw that one time on the Food Network. It actually looked like it would be a bunch of fun. Peggy:hurts:
  25. Dennis, I am so sorry to hear of your accident, but like everyone else said I am glad you are up and about. That was a good testimony to wear a helmet. I hope the doctor gives you a good report. Take care. Peggy
