    forget the caulk , this will only make the problem come back quicker. The caulk wil shrink, bend , and expand with heat , cold and flex of the house. The Mud( usg sheetrock compound ) is rigid when cured. The mud wil not expand and contract with th caulk causeing compound to pop of. Simlpe fix although never garaunted is to remove the original patch and drywall tape and reaply. Make sure the new tape( mesh preferable) is bedded well as this will fall of with time if this first ste[p is not done wright. Sand lightly in between coats of mud, usually 2 to 3 coats to get the desired finish. Prime the patched seem and then aply the finsh texture. Then put on finish coat of paint entire celing. More complex fix and almost always a sure fire fix is to install expantion joints but this my not be a look that you can live with. My house is thirty years old and I patch and refinish ceiling every 2 or 3 years but this is what I do for a living so no big deal for me. Now as for the texture finish. If you could get a pic posted of the texture itself I could probably look at it and give you an idea if not and exact way to duplicate this finish. Send i tto me on a pm so I can take a good looj=k at it. Its a little long but I hope this helps. David

    yeah i carry a buck 110 for now but just the whole nastlgia(spelling) of doing things the old fashion way. You no like with a bow and old style knife. Kinda like reincting. Also just thinkits kinda cool. David

    Are there anay knife makers in the group? I'm looking to find a nice bone handle skinng knife. Problem is that I want it to funtion well but not be so nice that once I get it home it's too nice to take to the woods. Just ran into this problem. Bought one off of ebay. Paid less than 30 bucks deliverd, got it in my hands and then it went straight to the gun cabinet. Turned out to be a Ken Richardson signed original. Hence too nice for the woods. Any info will be greatly apreciated, Thanks in advance, David

    My 91 was doindg the same thing. Drip dripmdrip on the driveway. Checked it today and dang if it weren't easy . Just two quick turns in the hose clamp and she stopped. Good luck and hope the weather is better for you. 16 degrees when I started taking of the fairings this mornig. david

    Ok mini, Need just a little info. Is there a contact # and a set up listed for ventureriders or what? I googled koa east and found a koa east asheville . Is That then wright one and what reference do I need to give the attendent who pics up the phone. We will be camping so I would like to reserve our spot next to or at least near to everyone.     yes it was . The thought made me cry. Thanks for all the support out there. Didn't really expect it as I wasn't tryimg to bring anyone down, Just looking for a lift myself. I let my wife read these post also and she cried at the image of the three wheeler too as irony has it I'm working on mine since hunting season. Thanks again, David
