  1. Trying to make the Ohio run. Dad's in the hospital in Waco and I might not make it this year.
  2. Never had them apart. Might want to PM Kent.
  3. LilBit said if she uses much hairspray her scalp will itch. Now she barely dusts her hair with spray and itching is not an issue.
  4. Now, if'n ya only had a tire changer..... Oh wait, ya do! Now, if'n ya only knew how to use it... http://www.buzzpirates.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/muttley01.gif
  5. Art, That V7Goose's Venture in the pic. The wire should fit between the two pieces I believe. Here's where I got my lights. http://www.customdynamics.com/motorcycle_dynamic_clusters.htm http://www.customdynamics.com/Images/3FunctionSmFINAL.gif
  6. Yeah, what he said. Switch the inboard and outboard pads and they should quiet down (if there's any pad left).
  7. Jim, I'll build you a hitch if you can wait until after Maintenance Day at Freebird's. http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv87/dawarren77377/Trailer%20Hitch/DSCF5225.jpg?t=1275661558 http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv87/dawarren77377/Trailer%20Hitch/DSCF4933.jpg?t=1275661589 The Hopkins "Hoppy" #46155 lighting adapter is available at most auto parts stores and is a breeze to install. We could meetup and do the install pretty quick. Ponch

  9. Ken, My wife uses one of these occasionally. It helps her. She has the silk model. http://cyclecrafts.net/helmet_liners_blk.jpg
  10. Yeah, Dave. Get a white bike to go with that Black/white helmet and they'll really move for ya!
  11. I had similar experience with the Nexen. I guess I learned to compensate for the handling characteristics and really didn't notice it much anymore. Saturday I had a blowout from road debris. Gunboat had a Kumho which we mounted up in the Nexen's place. Man, what a difference! Feels much more stable. It still wants to track on uneven surfaces, but much better than the Nexen. I understand the Nexen is a 2 ply rating for the sidewall where the Kumho and Goodrich are 4 ply.
  12. I'll check wit Squid. Don't wanna get there before him, you know. I'm just sayin'
  13. Kreg, there's a pretty good alternator shop near me that rebuilds starters and such.
  14. "Now I can tow this baby at triple digits all day long!" 100° or 100 MPH? Either way, you gonna have fun.
  15. We can still try out that pesky ol hammer!
  16. Hal, We're glad you had a good trip. Bummer about the wind. If you had the CB on, that's prolly the culprit. If you leave the CB on and turn the bike off, sometimes when you restart it, the radio will freeze. Nothing works right except the volume. It's a pain, but if you learn to turn off the CB before you shut off the ignition, that should keep things working.
  17. You so bad! You know you're not gonna sit back and let Lonna do your dirty work for you.
  18. There are two cables attached to the deck. One is a multi pin plug connection which includes power and audio. The other is a stereo cable for the auxillary input jack. I suppose you could separate the 12V+ wire from the multi pin cable, but it's probably easier to run a new power conection from another circuit to a powerlet or other plug type conector.
  19. Check the wire connections. If you used Scotchlok's to splice the wires together, they sometimes do not make a good connection.
  20. I've read a few post about the Edsets adapters. Seem to do the trick. http://www.edsets.com/edsets_adapters

    J&M Headsets

I had the econo sets to start with and they were ok. I upgraded to the Elite and noticed a lot clearer sound with better base. The econo sets sounded scratchy (if that makes sense).
  22. Not true I tell ya! (plus there is no photographic evidence, so it never happened).
