One Fuze, too many systems out.. wow
Ponch replied to Seaking's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
If any wiring was altered or added to the rear, check the wiring behind the license plate bracket. JBurrell kept blowing that same fuse the other day and it turned out to be a dead short from exposed wires in that wiring housing. -
George, I've used these guys a lot. Very reliable folks.

Another Clutch Slipping
Ponch replied to craigatcsi's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Free is always good. Make Yamaha fix it. After warranty, I would go with Earl (skydoc_17)'s clutch upgrade. It takes about 10 - 30 minutes. A little longer if you have to sand the metal plates.- 9 replies

Goose wrote in his article that he reinforced the conduit with "U" channel for extra strength.

Pick, If you sketch it, I'll make it for you. Or, take your hitch off and send it to me and I'll add a removable flag holder to it.

Yeah, Ponch & John used to ride like that on C.H.I.P.s. Broke my heart when I found out they were really on a trailer being pulled by a camera truck. Seriously, I have done that side by side thing. You really have to trust your self and riding partner.

We are blessed to get him! I was afraid Brad & Lonna were going to have to move away from us to find work. Now they can settle in and get comfortable.

EES coming soon........ Here's a new option thanks to a suggestion from Sideoftheroad.... http://i672.photobucket.com/albums/vv87/dawarren77377/Gauges/DSC00007.jpg?t=1268249596

It should fit in a 2" hole. The plate you have is for the 1 1/2" gauges which are 1.650" dia. holes in the dash plate.

I want to have mine re-chromed, but can't figure out how to dissassemble them without ruining the plastic that holds them together. Might go with Fire Stiks instead.

A Drag Specialties tach should fit. I think you grounded one of the terminals on the the horn which completed the circuit bypassing the relay. The horn button completes the circuit to ground (pretty sure).
