Amazing First Gen in Reno listed on Ebay

I was actually thinking that this bike is worth 4k as well. How many Mark 1's are out there in this condition? -

I took my tank off and added an extra wire for any future electrical needs. Taking the tank off was pretty easy. -
I have the Dunlop Elite 3's on my bike and I'm sold on them.

Oh, I'm in that club as well!

Actually, I've seen this kind of stuff alot when I used to work on an Ambulance. The driver of the car just went around a corner, was distracted by the lights of the police cruiser and drove right into the rock pile. Just a moment of inattention can cause an accident. Seems like all this technology (Cell phones, GPS, etc.) is making the problem much worse. Getting rear ended by a car at a stop is one of my biggest fears on the bike. I'm making a conscious effort to give myself room to escape, and keep an eye on my rear view mirrors.

I'm sold on the Dunlop Elite 3's. Had my bike out today as well. I guess we will have a little more nice weather tomorrow but rain is on the way.

Got mine as well today. I'll be putting them on this weekend. Thanks Larry!
-
Geez, I've been hoping that you would make these up Larry! I'll order a set if you want to make it.
-
Great news Brad! I wish you two didn't have to move so far away, but I guess that means we will have to take a long road trip some time.

I started to read Edgar Sawtelle but was having a tough time getting into it. My sister says it's a great book so I might give it another go.

Looks like this weekend for me. Can't wait!!!

Man, that sucks Jay. Hope you recover fast!

I actually like the tribals.

We still have snow on the ground. All I could do is pull the bike out of the garage and start it up!

Hey Kevin, Make sure you put up pictures as you go. I like the design you picked out. http://photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs060.snc3/14754_1158061154534_1317916057_30435076_2803706_n.jpg

I think my doggies are pretty spoiled as well! http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4065/4360949803_6fa0d8b42d.jpg Nice job on the dog house! These two knuckleheads have a nice dog house as well but they don't use it.

somewhat dissapointed w/ Garmin
Mariner Fan replied to Sideoftheroad's topic in GPS, Audio, Electronics
Geez, I could have sworn I saw that in the Zumo forums. I guess old age dementia is kicking in. Good news for me since I plan on keeping my 550 for awhile! I think Jerry might be talking about my experience with Garmin which was really good. I bought my 550 used from a guy. It lasted about six months and then would not boot up at all. I tried everything suggested in the Zumo forum but it was dead. Gave Garmin a call and they replaced it. Now the thing is that the previous owner transferred the registration to me. Maybe that is why they did that. I wasn't expecting them to do that but I figured that it was worth a phone call to see what they would do. -
I really like it Steve. I have control over what I allow to be published and I've been able to reconnect with my extended family and friends.
