  1. After seeing Eagleeye's bike, reading everything I could find, pro and con, talking to the pro'ers and the con'er's, and thinking about it for the past year, I've gone and put a car tire on mine, a 2007 venture. The guy that put the tire on the rim said it was harder to get the E-3 off than to put the Kuhmo on. Said all he did was put a tube in the Kuhmo, aired it up really big and laid it in the sun (90 degree day) for a few hours. He then took the tube out and mounted the tire using Dawn to slick up the rim. Said he beat it a little but didn't really have a problem. The tire was so balanced, he din't have use any weights. I've ridden with my wife on the bike, about 150 miles on it at 42 lbs air. The roads were twisties for the most part. The tire did great! My wife said it felt smoother than the E-3 did over the same roads. Looking forward to the next 25,000 miles Cheers, Steve
  2. I'd be interested in one as well. Thanks Steve
  3. 23 here. Whew....... I was getting just a little worried toward the end. Steve
  4. I bought aftermarket pipes to drown out the clutch whine I still had after changing the clutch basket. I switched back for 1 week-end and returned the Roadhouse exhaust to the bike. The whine was still there. The growl of the Roadhouse Pipes helps a lot. Cheers, Steve

  11. i've been using Scrubbing Bubbles for several years now with no problems. I guess I just don't leave it on there long enough to have problems. If you use it like I do I've had no problems. I wet the bike. I then spray the whole bike with the stuff. i let it sit a few minutes and rince it off. No problems. Now bugs and caked stuff need extra clleaning, but it works for me with most stuff. If therea a better, safer product that does as good, I'm all eyes and ears Cheers, Steve
  12. The best and fastest cleaner..... Scrubbing Bubbles foaming bathroom cleaner. Spray it on your warm fins and leave it a few minutes, then just rinse it off. Great cleaner and won't harm anything. Been using it for years now. Cheers, Steve

    2 Up?

Cool Steve. I'll see you there. Didn't know you were a dark sider. I want to know I'm making the right decision before getting one with Kim riding everywhere with me. If it were just me on the bike, I'd already have one. I know Lowell also rides on them. I just want to be extra careful when it comes to my Kim. I've got an E-3 on the rear now and it has 13,000 miles and still tread left. It just costs do darn much! I change tires right now 1-2 times a year. Too much money being spent, if I really don't need to. Cheers, Steve

    2 Up?

I've been reading a lot about the Dark Side, however not much is out there about riding 2 up and/or pulling a camper. Any one out there with some good info? Alos what's the most milage anyone's gotten on the rear for a car tire? Thanks, Steve

  17. Name of Restaurant The Dock Street Address 764 S Nelson St City Levenworth State or Province IN Website (Optional) www.leavenworthdock.com Quality of Food Great Quality of Service Fantastic Biker Friendly? (Parking, Trusted Location, Etc.) Yes Kind of Food? (Mexican, Chinese, etc.) Amrican Alcohol Served? Yes Additional Comments Extrememy Motorcycle friendly. The restaurant in right on the Ohio River. It's located in the original town of Levenworth on the Ohio with lots of old homes and great atmosphere. You can be served inside or out. Lots of umbrella covered picnic tables outside on a huge wood deck. Sit in a rocker under huge shade trees and watch tugs & barges go by while waiting on your order. Food is great. Mainly hamburger type stuff , but also fish, clams, oysters & froglegs and full meals too. Beer is cold as well. Pretty cheap too. It's just off Hwy 62, part of the Scenic Byways route, along the Ohio River just a little ways west of Corydon, In. Its just east of the Overlook restaurant which is on top of the Hill in Levenworth. Both are good places to stop. Most riders seem to prefer the Dock, as it's a lot less formal eating. It's a regualr stop for us at least 3-4 times a summer. Cheers, Steve

After she gets off the computer from talking with her, she aways has this strange fey gleem in her eye. Kinda scarey if you know what I mean.... My problem is is that sometimes I don't hear too well..... Cheers, Steve
