i had a similar problem, solution: open up the case, pull the "memory sticks out, reinsert them. be careful to put the sticks back into their original slots. might solve your problem, for free. just jt -

i spent 3 1/2 years as a "crash/rescue/firefighter, in the u s navy. spent 3 more in the civil service, doing the same thing. all in all, i liked the work - - at the time(1970-1977). now 40 years down the road, i have asbestosis, thanks to my UNCLE SAM, and there is nothing i can do about it. just jt:ignore:

following along "rentalguy's" train of thought: my grandfather , when i was about 7 years old, told me. "in your lifetime, you will see a time when a pound of salt is worth more than a pound of gold". didn't mean much to me at the time, but i have always remembered it. i agree with the "seeds and bullets" way of planning. just jt

after reading about "BONGO-BOB'S "misfortune, it became obvious to me that some members here are "savvy" about peripheral neuropathy. my sister has it in both feet, and now her hands are showing signs of "loss of feeling". she is NOT diabetic, and is rapidly becoming a cripple. anyone who knows about this malady, please respond or p.m. me with your input. if i were going to invest in gold, i would certainly only buy "hard/tangible gold". gold "bonds", or certificates, are nothing more than paper. they are NOT backed by "real" gold bars, as in Ft. Knox! just jt
