Hi everyone. In the process of a pretty stout going over of my wife and I's 86'. We've had those middle of the road IMC intercoms on our agv modulars for several years, maybe 30k through all the elements. THey still work great. They're the ones that have a firewire looking pinout to the coily 5pin. I would love to that pinout too, specifically if anyone's integrated those into a different configuration. Then I started thinking, Has anyone overhauled the entire audio/cb/intercom? Maybe out of a 2nd gen? My nightmare concern is maintaining all the ext. thumb button control and all. I'd love to drop another $100 mega flexible, bluetooth wal mart stereo in the hole but I want to be able to control with the existing. I like that my wife can adjust all her stuff and the radio as well. Then what about the CB? We live by that thing! Has anyone done an extensive audio/media (inc. CB) overhaul that would integrate nicely with the headsets? Great forum!! -
VentureRider.org member A report shows a probable esophageal cancer. He will be having surgery in the morning for a biopsy and they will also attempt to put in a feeding tube. The family appreciate the prayers thus far and ask for you to continue to remember him in your prayers. I meet him one afternoon at my wife's office and of course I was on my venture & we struck up a conversation. He invited me over to his shop to show me somethings he thought I needed to know. He really helped me in a lot of things about the Venture. He is the one who introduced me to this site. His love for riding really showed & his love on passing down what he has learned to a newbie was greatly appreciated ...So please say prayer for Big Bird...... -

Guys, I need advice. I love motorcycling more than anything else. I love it, and that is it. I have not ridden since November. I am basically going insane, wanting to ride. It has been warm and wonderful. My husband has not moved the bike an inch. It is sitting in the garage saying, Peggy get on me. I am going crazy. He has not gotten the bike out to work on it. I keep talking about riding and wanting to ride, but it is still there. I love our bike. I wash it. I wax it. I love it as though it is my fourth child. It means a lot to me. What am I doing wrong? I need advice. I just want to go for a ride! Help me. Sad in Cincinnati or Yama Mama

I LOVE the Oil Filter Purolator "Pure-One". I have seen the PL14612 mentioned here as the equivalent stock replacement. My question is the PL14610 is 3/4" Longer than the above stock 2.5" thus 3/4" of extra superior filter media. Will it fit? FYI: I climbed under RSV 2008 and measured about 1.25" between existing 2.5" Filter and the Frame. Approaching 600 mi Oil Change will be using Shell Rotellta T-5w40 from here on out. Any additional 2 cents welcome too. -
New Member here with a new to me 06 RSTD. WOW I love it.... but...my wife HATES the seat. I have seen many posts about different seats but wanted to know what other passengers think. I would love to install Venture Pillow Tops like so many have but cant find any available? Any for sale anywhere? Any advice? I would send whatever seats I get to Rick Buttler for his special treatment but need to know what passengers really like! Thanks in advance... Bob -

Thank you Lord for living a life only God could live. You touched the lives of so many while you were on this earth a short 33 years. Thank you for having love and grace on the souls of all humankind. You gave your life on that cross even though you didn't deserve to die. You did it so that all could have the chance to know their Creator. Thank you Lord for forgiving my many deeds that caused your painful death. I love you Lord. Help me love the way you loved. I am indebted to you for life so please use me for your will. On this day many years ago Jesus Christ was crucified on a cross. He did for all humankid. He cares for and loves all. He wants to know you on a personal level. If you want to know him you just need to talk to him. He's listening. Prayer is simply talking with God. May the Lord's forgiveness be celebrated this Easter season. His grace and peace are real and attainable by all.

I have been looking at this bike every time I go for a check up on my shoulder surgery in Mount Sterling,KY..... The dealer is right next door with in walking distance, and I did think of one of these before me and my Red Raven sweetheart, but I am kinda struck on her. Does any one else have one or had any experience with them. I still love my RSTD, but, this bike has some really nice features and I absolutely love this color. Very good breaking system. Belt drive. i picked up my brand new 2009 rstd from the dealership on Friday. 15 km into my initial ride I pulled up at a red light when the light changed all of a sudden I had no gears what so ever. Although it is in deed under warantee i would love to here from the membership as to how I should handle this situation. needless to say I am very disapointed.

I have to replace my winter helmet and I think I want to get another modular.Any cons to some of the helmets that some have used.ease of one hand operation.etc. I love the modular and also love my tinted inner visor, just move a lever and instant shades.lol Im looking to spend under $250 us

Dont see anything in the Favorite Roads and Destinations for Florida? On Way back from the keys in March, I am thinking about talking Rt 27 on 3/30-31/2012. Took the southern leg of 27 a couple years ago then jogged east of lake okechobee. Was 2nd week of June and the love bugs were terrible. 1. When is love bug season (there are 2?) 2. Would like to do the west side on this trip... Anyone travel it from start to finnish?

Grandma is eighty-eight years old and still drives her own car. She* *writes: Dear Grand-son, The other day I went up to our local Christian book store and saw a 'Honk if you love Jesus' bumper sticker .. I was feeling particularly sassy that day because I had just come from a thrilling choir performance, followed by a thunderous prayer meeting.. So, I bought the sticker and put it on my bumper. Boy, am I glad I did; what an uplifting experience that followed. I was stopped at a red light at a busy intersection, just lost in thought about the Lord and how good he is, and I didn't notice that the light had changed. It is a good thing someone else loves Jesus because if he hadn't honked, I'd never have noticed. I found that lots of people love Jesus! While I was sitting there, the guy behind started honking like crazy, and then he leaned out of his window and screamed, 'For the love of God!' 'Go! Go! Go! Jesus Christ, GO!' What an exuberant cheerleader he was for Jesus! Everyone started honking! I just leaned out my window and started waving and smiling at all those loving people. I even honked my horn a few times to share in the love! **There must have been a man from Florida back there because I heard him yelling something about a sunny beach. I saw another guy waving in a funny way with only his middle finger stuck up in the air.. I asked my young teenage grandson in the back seat what that meant. He said it was probably a Hawaiian good luck sign or something. Well, I have never met anyone from Hawaii , so I leaned out the window and gave him the good luck sign right back. My grandson burst out laughing. Why even he was enjoying this religious experience!! A couple of the people were so caught up in the joy of the moment that they got out of their cars and started walking towards me. I bet they wanted to pray or ask what church I attended, but this is when I noticed the light had changed. So, grinning, I waved at all my brothers and sisters, and drove on through the intersection. I noticed that I was the only car that got through the intersection before the light changed again and felt kind of sad that I had to leave them after all the love we had shared. So I slowed the car down, leaned out the window and gave them all the Hawaiian good luck sign one last time as I drove away. Praise the Lord for such wonderful folks!! Hi all, I'm a proud new owner of a awesome 2000 mm Venture, 3500 miles, this thing is sweet. I traded my Raider on it because I can never get a ride in without the wife. I love the Venture but I need pipes,I'm talking pretty loud. What do I want and where do I get them.

Went out riding this weekend up here in Fargo ND, only 15 degrees outside with a 20 mph wind. I took the 05 RSTD and boy was it fun. I love the bike the wind coverage. I wanted to ride more but had work to do. So Thanksgiving will be the next time out. God did I say I love this bike.

Her Diary; Tonight I thought my husband was acting weird. We had plans to meet at a nice restaurant for diner. I was shopping with my friends all day, so I thought he was upset that I was late but he made no comment on it. Conversation wasn't flowing so I suggested we go someplace quiet so we could talk. He agreed but didn't say much. I asked him what was wrong; he said "Nothing". I asked if it was my fault he was upset. He said he wasn't upset and it had nothing to do with me and not to worry about it. On the way home, I told him I love him. He just smiled and kept driving. I can't explain his behaviour...I don't know why he didn't say "I love you too". When we got home, I felt as if I had lost him completely, as if he wanted nothing to do with me anymore. He just sat there quietly and watched TV. He seemed distant and distracted. Finaly, I could not bare the silence so I went to bed. About 15 minutes later, he came to bed too but just layed there quietly and fell asleep...I cried. I don't know what to do. I'm almost sure his thoughts are with someone else. My life is a disaster! His Diary; My mororcycle won't start...can't figure out why!
