How do you get the helmet mic connected to the Zumo so you can talk on the phone?

My full coverage insurance from Progressive comes with road side assistance and towing good for 15 miles, I would probably call them first if I had an issue and wasn't close to home and my trailer. But I do see where on the Star assistance card it says there is some trip interruption reimbursement.

I have owned six street bikes, not one has ever been on a trailer while I owned it. One was in the back of a pickup truck, but it was in pieces in a crate so I don't count that. But you never know, there might be an incident where I would trailer my bike? After all I do have a trailer for my dirt bike that would haul the Venture fine.

Was I suppose to mention not all people in Canada are Canadians some are Canadiens?
-
USA (United States of America) The possibilities are Unitians, Statians, or Americans!!!!! The other countries in North America are Canada where Canadians live, and Mexico where Mexicans live. In South America there are Peruvians, Chileans, Bolivians and do I need to go on. None of the other countries have America in their name.

I'm not sure about he anti-fog, but regular Rain-X says right on the bottle not to use on plastic or plexi-glass as it can cause damage. If I was to try anything to help with fogging I would try the Zaino products.

Right from the American Yamaha RSV web site "79 cubic-inch liquid-cooled, V-four tuned to put out class-leading power — 97hp @ 6000 rpm and maximum torque at 89 ft.-lb. @ 4750 rpm" I checked several international Yamaha sites and do not see any horsepower quotes. As far as rear wheel HP,,, gearing can make a difference, and a Max is both geared and tuned differently than an RSV

Less restriction and better jetting make an engine both more efficient and produce better hp.. This means it will get better gas mileage at the same even speed. That doesn't mean if you use all the extra horse power you will still get better mileage!!! I think the 97hp is at the crank on these bikes, so yes rear wheel dyno would be about 10 to 12% less.. But then I was assuming when 120hp was used that was a crank # also.. People that don't produce a dyno sheet to back up their claims always talk Crank #s as it is more impressive. I do have to agree with the comment that the gain would be in the top end and why bother. I rarely ever get anywhere near the red line so wouldn't even consider it.
-
Stock is 97hp,, to 120 is ? ? ? less than 25%. Not sure if you can really get 120hp, but almost any modern stock EPA passing engine out there on any vehicle if you give it a less restrictive exhaust, free flowing intake, and rejet (or remap if FI) you can get decent gain.

Let's start by saying there is no such thing as oil that lubricates too well. Many very high performance engines come from the factory with synthetic oil: Corvettes, Porches, KTMs, Husqvarnas, Cagivas and on and on. Apparently it doesn't screw up their break in, why would it screw up any engine break in? Mobil 1 has many types, some energy conserving, some not. And since when do dealers know anything about engineering, most don't even know as much as the average enthusiast does about the products they sell. The only difference between modern dino oil and full synthetic is heat resistance, shear resistance, and longevity. So if you do not race, or do extended oil changes you don't need synthetic.

Legally you can put songs from CDs you already own on an MP3 player for yourself.. I like XM because I can change styles of music when my mood changes and I often get to hear songs I've never heard before. There is never anything new on any MP3 player I've loaded for myself.

I have a Roady2 with this mount.. http://www.myradiostore.com/mounts-brackets-tools/motorcycle-mounts/hoon-hardware-roady-2-holder-motorcycle.html and I just used a stereo cable from the Roady2 to the AUX jack by the cassette.

The one thing no one has mentioned, is that many FI systems bring on the power harsh and quickly. In a car with an automatic you don't notice it, but in a vehicle with a manual clutch it is there. Most it is barely noticeable. On some machines can make taking of from a stop a jerky thing. My 6-speed manual Acura TL is one that it is very noticeable. Nine of my last ten cars had manual transmissions, four of them were FI and I stalled my TL trying to take off smoothly more times in my first three months with it than all the times together on the other eight. I have test ridden many FI bikes and not one was a smooth and easy to take off with as my RSV, but none were bad enough to even consider avoiding them. Personally carb or FI I would perfer FI, but it is not that big a deal. Matter of fact, I've yet to own an FI bike because no one has put FI on a bike I liked everything else. But is was a close call for me between the RSV and the BMW K1200LT. It had both FI and ABS. As much as I love my RSV, if I won a lottery, I'd probably put an LT in the garage too.

I agree with that statement, but I believe it should be the employer that pays for a job well done. And the government shouldn't make laws allowing the cheap (expletive here) to avoid paying their help. My wife worked in the food industry many years before going back to college to become a teacher. After many years she worked her way up to an assistant chief at a fancy resort. She made more per hour than any of the wait staff, but got none of the tips so with all her experience and training made less a year than most of them. She decided as much as she loved cooking that the food industry was just to screwed up and got out. She found something she loved even more, teaching. So now why she makes more than she did, she is in the lowest paid profession in this country that requires a degree!!!!

Alvin C York applied to be aconscientious objector, drafted at age thirty, York in many ways typified the underprivileged, undereducated conscript who traveled to France to "keep the world safe for democracy." With great reservations, York embarked for Camp Gordon, Georgia to receive his basic training. A member of Company G in the 328th Infantry attached to the 82nd Division (also known as the "All American Division) York established himself as a curiosity--an excellent marksman who had no stomach for war. After weeks of debate and counseling, York relented to his company commander, George Edward Buxton, that there are times when war is moral and ordained by God, and he agreed to fight. but he didn't know if he could kill. When he had to decide, between killing a few or letting hundreds die, he killed 25 Germans and captured 132. From his vantage point he could have killed many more, maybe all of them. From York's Diary. In boot camp. "So you see my religion and my experience...told me not to go to war, and the memory of my ancestors...told me to get my gun and go fight. I didn't know what to do. I'm telling you there was a war going on inside me, and I didn't know which side to lean to. I was a heap bothered. It is a most awful thing when the wishes of your God and your country...get mixed up and go against each other. One moment I would make up my mind to follow God, and the next I would hesitate and almost make up my mind to follow Uncle Sam. Then I wouldn't know which to follow or what to do. I wanted to follow both but I couldn't. They were opposite. I wanted to be a good Christian and a good American too." In Europe ". . .There were over thirty of them in continuous action, and all I could do was touch the Germans off just as fast as I could. I was sharp shooting... All the time I kept yelling at them to come down. I didn't want to kill any more than I had to." He came back to a ticker tape parade and endorsement offers that would have made him rich. But he had never used any of the products and refused to take money under false pretenses and went home. A truly honorable man, one of America's greatest heros.

There was a case in NJ this year where a large party got bad service and refused to pay the gratuity that was added on. The person ended up being arrested for failure to pay the bill, and went to jail for a night, then went to court where the judge ruled you cannot force someone to pay a gratuity. I believe there was a civil suit against the owner for making a false claim of non-payment (the guy paid everything but the gratuity) and that the owner ended up losing the restaurant, but I'm not positive about that. Just as a note, if you go to Disney with a large party, they do not add a gratuity, they add a service charge for large parties. That you have to pay.

Well, I usually tip 10% plus the round up to the nearest dollar. I know some don't like this, but I do not see why anyone should be tipping 20% unless it was something really special. I also, when ever I have cash tip in cash as the government taxes service industry people on their tips by looking at gratuities on credit cards nationwide and taxing the average. Every time you leave no tip on the card and tip cash you help the entire industry. Employers should be required to pay a reasonable amount. Restaurant or not minimum wage should be minimum wage IMHO. If we keep going the way we are now tips will be up to 30 or 40% and service employees will soon be taking positions for no pay just to get the tips. We are in effect pushing the the service industry to be legalized beggars.

That would have to be a British Veteran, otherwise I'd be reading it in Haudenosaunee or Cherokee!!! One sided political editorials blinding supporting or condemning either party are not worth the time it took to express them. They are sweeping generalizations, same as any other prejudice. Personally I think John Glenn was a great man, but I could care less what his opinion is. I have enough brains to think for myself.
