And how exactly can this go togehter with no "Guns in Hands of the Citizens" ? Not at Home, not in your Car, nor in your Pocket. Ah no need to answer ....

Even Greenpeace is AGAINST raising the Percentage . .. :rotf::rotf: I think, if produced locally, a small Amount not only makes you feel good, it may even help the Environment and the Economy. But that's a different Story. If we could over this hatered Debate between Al Gore's Politics and "stop global Goring", we even could achieve a somehow safer World.

There are Plugs with 16 mm on the Market also. -
Our Gov wanted to raise the Biofuel Percentage from five to ten Percent starting in July this Year. Only Fuel which should have stayed a 5 Percent was the best Octane Gas. But they learned that maybe over 3 Million Vehicles would have been affected. So they stopped the whole Process and think about the whole Biofuel Thing. The Amount of Biofuel only Germany need to mix is so muc, that we import it from Malaysia... Not so good on the overall CO2 Reduction. Our Secretary is thinking about the whole Mixture Thing and has his Experts calculate the whole Process. If there is not at least 30 Percent better CO2 Emission during the whole Production and Transport, the Mixture Law could go away.

True or Not, i like the Story :rotf::rotf: And it's sad when i read "more often then not someone went to jail for falsely summoning the Police." Of Course, when someone steals only from the Shed, there no Life at risk in first Place, but what can a normal Citizen do about it ? Call the Police and be told that there's no one available to take the Crooks down ? Wait for someone to come after they are gone and file Charges to unknown ? Hope that they don't burn down the Shed afterwards to cover the Burglary ?

Charging Problem - Opinions please
Squeeze replied to BradT's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Hey Brad, why did he replace the Battery ? I don't know much about the Locationa on the 2Gens, but you look out for a three Wire Connector, all the Wires with the same Color. Might be white or yellow Wires. The Wire comes out from the rear Stator Cover. You don't need to dismount the Cover to check the Stator. Once you found the Connector, you can check it per Manual for Resistance and/or you can measure the three Wires against each other and should read 15 Volts AC !! on all three Measurements when the Motor runs on Idle. When you check each Wire against Ground, there should be no Voltage. Checking the Charging System involves to undo all related Connectors, which are basically the three Wire Connector, the Connector of the R/R and the Ground Connection of the R/R. Check them for Corrosion and if so, use a Contact Cleaner and give them a Bath. After blowing the Fluid away, reconnect them with dielectric Grease applied. -
Looking for a Part for a 86 and up

If your Motor was running in overrevving Range, start to look out for a spare Engine. The Connecting Rods are sensitive and have almost no Reserve when overrevving. The one or two of the upper Eyes will start to get oval. You will hear nothing for the next 1000 Miles, then you will hear a ticking Noise which will get louder for the next 5000 Miles. If you can stand the Sound at this State, you can normally ride for about 8000 Miles until you need to worry about the Con Rod making its Way out of the Casing to see the Light. -
There's a fair Chance that only her Lawyer knows your Name ... :rotf:

Not to mention that ABS advances the Stopping Distance under most Circumstances even at average Joe Riders.

Vmax rear differential question
Squeeze replied to a topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Just have someone holding the Casing and grab the Shock Bolt with a Vise Grip and turn the Bolt out. Or you place the the Bolt in a Bench Vise and turn the Casing.- 2 replies

Jim, i found this Site Moths ago and took a close Look to it. imho, this a bad Joke and way too much Money spent for a poor Technique. The Way the Injector are mounted, is causing a real bad Mixture Builltup. It works, yes, but at a terrible Degree of Efficiency. I've tested a Lot of Injectors for Fuel Delivery and Flow and for what i've seen when the Injectors blow into a Glass Bowl, there is no Way for a proper Mixture in low and middle Air Flow Conditions.

There is no Preset on the Synch Screws. Assure some Slack in the Cables, make sure that the Idle Adjusting Screw slightly hits the Lever on the left Side between #1 and #2 Carb and let the Beast roar. If you have too much Idle Revs, stop the Eingine, back up all Synch Bolts for a half Turn and start again. -
Why do you thrust them with the Work on your Bike and don't thrust them on the disappearing Oil. I would take them by their Words and wait for the Oil to disappear. If not, well they owe you .... This is not a big Issue.

Or, i forgot to mention. Yamaha Germany states for the Vmax that 9mm/0.359 Inches out of Centerline would be Ok.
