1. Maybe it's something that came in with the bike from your last ride....(got stuck in the tire tread) ???? just a wild guess here... I know if you're like me, this would drive me nuts till I figgured it out LOL
2. Like I said... I'm block-headed LOL ... didn't even think about the vent.
3. Excuse me for being block-headed but what exactly would the difference of that be to gas inside a gas tank sitting overtop of a hot engine on a 100+ degree day? As for the fumes... they claim they are (VAPOR PROOF zero emissions - NO fumes)
4. heyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!! that looks like me! wait a min ... it IS ME!!
5. that one flew over my head .... as far as I'm concerned, anyone south of the CAN/USA border is a "yankee" .... (oooooooooooboy!!!... think I'll go hide now..)
6. look on the bright side Don .... for every down, there's an UP and the best part is, when you hit the bottom, you KNOW the only way you can go is UP !! LOL
7. ya... it's so bad that when something here isn't working or the site is down, I start getting the shakes, feeling nauseous, and seeing monstrous spiders crawling the walls!!!!
8. That's when they're trying to get their brains working....
9. when I try to go to page 2, I get the following error.... I've emailed Don about this. Have been getting other errors too when trying to post.
10. here's the error...
11. That's an "apples to oranges" comparison imho. Now put it in perspective... "apples to apples" ... Accidental deaths caused by Physicians versus accidental deaths caused by GUN OWNERS (people to people, not people to guns) That should be interesting.....
12. Win 7 has a lot of differences to WinXP ... take your time and look around. One of it's neatest features is the Search bar in the Start menu .... if you know what it's called or even a partial word, just start typing there. For instance, you will have difficulty trying to locate Computer Management which is under Control Panel | Administrative Tools in WinXP .... so in Win7, just type that into the Search bar and voila` ... there it is!
13. I just went to the link and it shows the price as 0.00 ... I think I'll order afew thousand.... LOL

We had a chinese family (grandfather and granddaughter) living across from us .... they recently moved. The grandfather was somewhere in his 90's and still doing all their yard maintenance ... dunno if he drove or not and we rarely get enuf snow around here to have to clean the roof but he was out there doing his driveway, even a couple yers ago when we had a fair amount of snow that lasted a month (usually only lasts a few days when/if it does snow LOL) yep, even if I do make it to that age, I know for a fact I'll not be in that kinda shape!
16. Sounds good to me... my address is...........
17. DITTO that!!!
18. I've been using Windows 7 Pro for a few months now... once you get onto it, you will like it. It has been very stable. I have it at work on 7 PC's as well as at home. I initially found that my scanner was incompatible in that HP did not make drivers for it but then I found a "cheap" scanner software that had it's own drivers. Front Page 2003 WILL work in Windows 7 ... I have tested that. Other software that may not be compatible can be installed using "compatibility mode" in most cases.
19. Here's a digital one that I use.... http://www.canadiantire.ca/search/search_results.jsp;jsessionid=NQGTpJJzNy1Sn1YRJX5LvmLWHWrbmg1dJl1TxXrXz5t7P2QDFXCJ!-264220395?bmForm=form_endeca_search&bmFormID=1297138740946&bmUID=1297138740946&bmIsForm=true&bmPrevTemplate=%2Fhome.jsp&bmHidden=OMNITURE_FROM&OMNITURE_FROM=Search&bmHidden=event26&event26=true&bmText=quick_search_term&quick_search_term=motorcycle+tire+gauge&bmSubmit=quick_search&bmHidden=FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=1408474396672077 if the above doesn't work... try THIS LINK
20. Talk about being full of sh#t !!! LMAO
21. '83 and '87 trunks are completely different. The '83 is detatchable ... the '87 is not. You will need all the mounting hardware to adapt the '87 trunk to the '83 bike.
22. The "pumpkin" is slang for the differential housing. That's the one on the LEFT side of the wheel that contains the gears that transfer the turning of the driveshaft to the rear wheel. Clean the splines with ordinary paint thinner or varsol using a short-bristled paint brush. Then wipe dry with a clean rag. Apply a "liberal" coat of the moly to the splines and apply it to both outer and inner spline surfaces.... use a small, short-bristled brush to apply the stuff.
23. Item #3 is a stud and it appears #21 & 27 go onto it. You'll notice that Item #2 & 3 are described the same and Item #2 is more "visible" ... My personal feeling is the thing you found did not come off the bike.... at least not the final drive.
24. I totally agree .... that Roseanne did nothing for me but turn my stomach!!! yyeecckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk
25. DITTO that!!!
