The object of the game is to move the red block around without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls. If you can go longer than 18 seconds you are phenomenal. It's been said that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are expected to go for at least 2 minutes. Give it a try, but be careful...it is addictive Reflex Test

is it possible that your DSL modem is faulty??? I had trouble with mine and they (the ISP) replaced the modem... all was well after that.

It is not nothing like FoxPro or Access... Filemaker uses a spreadsheet-like format for storing data. I've done a lot of work with both FoxPro and Access... they have few limitations but neither are designed for creating web apps. MySQL, SQLserver, MSDE, etc are only "back-end" systems ... I need a front-end that is easy to design in and easy to publish on a web server. Filemaker is very easy this way and it's "server" only requires that IIS be installed and running. Having said that, it's front-end is quite archaic to work with when you want to do some "fancy stuff" (so to speak)... it uses a scripting language that is almost like the old macro language in Lotus 123 or WordPerfect LOL So, I'm just looking for options at this time.

The very first one was a grouping report. It looks fine in Filemaker but It won't display that way from the web browser...nor can you print it that way from the web browser.

So, I am experimenting with FileMaker Pro 11 and Filemaker Server 11 as I may be building a Web database app and FileMaker seems pretty slick in this department. After only 2 days of experimenting tho, I am bumping into a few limitations. Anyone out there have any experience with FileMaker and what's your take on this program? Myself, I've been developing professionally for 20 years in a variety of environments with Visual Basic, VBA, MS Access, and MySQL being what I've been using for the past several years. Unfortunately, I have very little Web development experience and that is one of the reason's I'm looking at FileMaker. Maybe someone has another suggestion?

Don't feel so bad ... you could be barraged by news about what goes on in the USA like we do here in CanNuhDuh ... one sometimes thinks there's nothing happening in this country and we all live in igloos...

I'm surprised the "boss" or for that matter, a built-in script on the web server didn't block it. But I guess since it's used in that context, it's an acceptable word.

The use of cock-up to mean a blunder or error was originally British military slang dating from the 1920s. The slang sense of cock clearly had a lot to do with its adoption, but this hasn’t stopped it being used in respectable publications, and modern British dictionaries mark it merely as informal or colloquial.

I understand the reason for using 24 hour .... my non-dumb question was why refer to it as "hundred" ... why not just single digits... like 17 or 21? You would say 1730, not 17 hundred 30... right?? I know...I know... it really is a "dumb" question but if there is no logical answer, then it must fall into one of those ... unexplained "I Wonder WHY" groups LOL!
-
ok... but they still say "hundred" .... but thanks for enlightening me
-
I know there are no "dumb questions", only "dumb answers" so I figgure I'll get a few with this "non-dumb" question.... We have 2 ways of expressing time.... AM/PM or "Military" aka 24-hour clock. So my non-dumb question is .... why, when using the 24-hour clock, we say, for example, 13 hundred hours ... or .... 21 hundred hours ... or ... 05 hundred hours ???? If it's 5AM in the morning, I certainly haven't been sleeping for 5 hundred hours...!!! Oh geeeezzzzzzzzz.... I have cabin fever and PMS sooooooooooo BAD!!!!

Use the drawings posted above. I made mine before I knew the drawings existed. Get a length of flat aluminum 2" wide x 1/8 or 3/16. Mount your muffler and line up a piece with the holes, mark and drill and cut to length. (assuming of course that you have the appropriate tools and ability)

Contact your email hosting company, they might be able do something about it.

Sometimes the easiest way to fix something is to wait 15 min ... and it might have fixed itself! Seriously tho, internet traffic and bottlenecks and a myraid of other things can have a large effect on certain web's performance .... a lot depends on the various "hops" from client to server. For one person, it could be fast while at the same time slow for someone else. It's not necessarilly the web server or it's software itself that is causing the slowdown. Having said that, I realize you'd installed a new feature and then removed it which can require some "re-vamping" to get back to where you started. Heck, even our own Intranet slows down from time to time, depending on internal network traffic.

There are a number of places to get the rack...even 3rd party or Honda .... Yamaha rack is most common. Off-hand I don't have any specifics. As for installing, they are a little "tricky" ... first rule is to FOLLOW the INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY!! Second rule is .... MEASURE THREE TIMES, drill once! What I found is to put the screws into the rack ... just a couple threads to catch and then look at the angle ... it will help in drilling the holes otherwise you may find that when you put the screws thru the lid, they don't line up properly and you have to ream out the holes a bit bigger. I also found that doing one hole at a time and then measuring again ensures accuracy...for instance, do the forward (closest to the backrest) right hole ... screw the rack down (not tight) and measure for the left hole. Cover the area with masking tape soas not to "accidentally" scratch your trunk lid. Make sure you don't over-tighten. -
you're new here, aren't you........ welcome to the site!!!
