Headlight Chrome Piece "HELP"

I've heard reference to these before but for the life of me, I can't picture where these rubber grommets are in reference to splitting the fairing. I've split my fairing numerous times and I just don't recall seeing what ya'll are talking about. ??????????? -
Headlight Chrome Piece "HELP"
SilvrT replied to DanC's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
If you search around, you'll find writeups of how to remove the outer fairing shell. The trickiest part is removing/reinstalling the chrome windshield trim piece...gotta be careful of those tabs. Also, I found that when reinstalling the fairing shell, make sure it is lined up properly and fits snug around the edge before tightening the screws from the back side. -
DITTO that!

From my limited knowledge of this, I would suggest that the fairing has to be split to remove the chrome cover. Having said that .... it's really a piece of cake to split the fairing ... takes maybe 10 minutes. -

heh ... that's the same one I posted -
The guys above are b/s'n ya ... what really happens is they stick an electrode all the way up under your fingernails ... yes PLURAL .... and then they put a metal hat on ya with other electrodes connected to this big whirring, humming machine with lights and dials all over it and then they fire up this electrical generator to max capacity and once ready they throw a switch and watch you jerk and jump and fry. Wait a minute .... oh, sorry, I guess I was describing some sort of archaic electric chair.... forget what I said...

Will the 1 hour ride be on a freeway at a constant speed? ... if so, vary the speed a bit or switch between 4th and 5th from time to time. A key thing to keep in mind is to NOT lug the engine ... this is harder on it than anything. You might want to read this article... http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm -
People have to justify their existence somehow. sheeeesh ... ridiculous!!

that ain't us ... looks like a Harley (based on the hinges on the trunk) and I'm much better lookin than that guy!! LOL -
To be honest, I couldn't afford most homes around here. We rent our house. It's a 35+ yr old 3 bdrm house on a nice yard with single car garage and an above ground 1 bdrm suite which is also rented out (we rent the main floor & the garage). For what we pay for rent (which we can afford) we'd be lucky if we could buy a 2 bdrm + den townhouse. As for work/income, I'm a network administrator for a small call centre and I make appx 2/3 - 3/4 of what my USA counterpart would make.

yep, they do but even places like those would sell for well over 100k here. As for homes in excess of 1 mil out here .... there's tons and tons of them. Average price for a single, standard detached home in Vancouver = $800,000 Average price for a single, standard detached home in St John's = $250,000 (a guesstimate)
