    Thanks i think i found it. 1997 ZL 600 Eliminator inline 4 / shaft Drive / liquid cooled/ 6 speed and it looks to be the same Thanks for the help.

    No i picked it up to scrap it. But there are usable parts. so if I can figure out what it is then I could help someone with parts.

    here are a few pictures I could not fnd te VIN what i have is the number on the egine casing. Also it has overhead cam and plugs go in to the top

    just got a old motorcycle off of craiglist pretty ruff shape. No si covers so ihv no idea wa kind of bike it is. It is a Kawasaki big 4 cylinder (not V) possibly 99 or 2000 Shaft drive Disc brakes in front and Drums in back. I have the vin but not sure if I can tell from the vin. Anyone have any clues?

    There was a post a while back abouot a mount you could make to mount a steble on the right side. I alterted the plans and mounted mine on the left. When i get a few minutes I will take some pictures and send them out. John

    I bough 6 mm lock nuts and use a 1/4 inch rachet and 10mm socket to tighten - no more problems.

    got them from a guy on craigs list loca here in austin. charges $15 per 12 inch strip there are 21 lights per strip. Let m know an I can either get his email too you or get the lights for you and ship them. John

    Who sells the mounting brackets to mount road king pipes to a 06 venture? Also who sells the crome piece that connects the pipes togehter?

    Well got the bike running let it run for 1/2 an hour and drove it a little. Think fuel filter was bad. as far as i know hasn't been replaced. I will see what happens. Thanks for all the help.

    Yes i have heard it twice today but not every time I havent changed my filter I am doing that tonight!!

    Ok here the deal. Several times the bike has cut out like it is starving or out out of gas. One time I choked it and it started but when I tried to give it gas it bogged downand died. I leave it set for a while and it starts and runs fine. Today i brought it home and pulled the tank and the air boxes. First thing I noticed was oily stuff under the rail that holds the wires down. This is left side ONLY. Right looks nice and dry and clean. Oily and messy. I pulled the plug and it is clean and dry no signs of oil blowing by it. What do I need to look fo ras the cause I am going out to walmart to buy carb cleaner and clean it all up really good then keep a close eye on it. Any help would be great. It is a 2006 with about 40,000 on it.
