Patti and I want to thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. Alvin left this world doing exactly what he wanted, he was in the pasture messing with his animals.When the Lord called him home Patti was there to tell him she loved him. Alvin was a WWII vet and he was proud of his service. He joined the Army-Air Corp when he was 16, he served in the Philippines and later at Carswell air base in Fort Worth. Steve, Glad all went well for you. Allen had both knees done a few years back and he says it was the best surgery he ever had. Well I guess I will be forced to take mine to the shop. I have been working with it and have run two cans of Seafoam through it over a weeks time, some mixed with gas and I have emptied the carbs and put straight Seafoam in it and let it set. After drainging it and adding more gas it still has not broken loose. I have also put new plugs in it thinking they may have been fouled, no luck. I have gotten it to where I can start it and keep it running without the choke but only at a high rpm. As soon as I let off it dies. Any other suggestions before I have to shell out the $120.00 PER carb to have them cleaned and sinked? Allen

My bike is doing the same thing. Three weeks ago I rode it to the shop to have a new tire and brakes installed, no problem. Brought it home and parked it, two weeks later I started it and let it run for about 10 minutes. Last week the night before we were to leave on our trip I went to start it and and it would only run with the choke out, I have gotten it to where I can push the choke in but only if I am gunning it, as soon as I let off the gas it dies. I checked and cleaned the fuel lines and checked the fuel pump. I do remember smelling rotten smell when this began. Where can I buy this seafoam? I called the dealer about cleaning and tuning the carbs, $120.00 EACH, I am hesitant about getting into the carbs, thats not like working on an old holly. If the seafoam does not work, what would be the next step? Thanks guys, Allen

Brad, Always remember GOOD THINGS come to those who wait. Like we told our oldest son. He started out at a chicken plant in OK plucking feathers about ten years ago. He is now one of the highest in the company as a Quality Control Director and has even been offered a top position at a Tyson Plant. It doesn't hurt to start out lower in a job, it gives you pride knowing you can prove yourself and won't stay down there long. I know you can move up fast.Your a great person ,so keep your chin up.We wish the best for you and Lonna.Just show em what you got and let them know you wanna move to the TOP.You may not have been born a TEXAN but you'll be glad you became one. Don, Hope you have a speedy recovery . Ya'll have a beautiful trike ,you wouldn't want it to sit idle too long and get covered in dust. JUST DO AS THE OL DOC SAYS AND YOU'LL BE BACK IN THE SADDLE SOON. Hope all goes well with Patti while trying to cope with your recooperation time.
