so if I use the adapter box " hoppy" I can pull either a 4 or 5 wire trailer. If I install the isolator I can had more lights to just the trailer, pull any trailer and be protected from any shorts or bad circuits .

Delete oh come on let them first gen guys have there fun . They have resurrected a soon to be 4 year old thread. Going to build a hitch for my 07rsv new trailer on the way ! Does everyone's trailer set level when hitched to bike and is there any advantage other than appearance for it to do so. Trailer will have 12'' wheels and i just don't want it to look like its doing a nose dive going down the rode I'm a little OCD about these things. Will be installing leveling links before I build the hitch so that should help any comments or pics would be appreciated.

before I even ask this I should know better by now but here goes. Just ordered a new trailer that has factory Led's and is wired for 4 wires. From other threads looks like the Hoppy 4 to 5 converter will work and a lot cheaper than the other isolators,converters, and sub wiring harness that I have looked at. #1 Will the Hoppy converter be more economical than installing two more lights to the trailer for turn signals? #2 Will installing two more lights for turn signals require any kind of isolator? #3 Will wiring trailer directly to bike harm the bikes electrical system ? From what have read the isolator puts the load on the battery and not the bikes charging system. I'm not using any heated gear or planning any other lighting upgrades other than maybe some strip leds under the tank etc.. In theory trailer will only be used a few times a year. I have read so many old threads and opinions that I have information overload so give me some more and maybe it will fix this hangover.

Haven't gotten it but ordered a new ct500 trailer tonight to go behind the bike sale ends at midnight tonight. I will post pics as soon as it gets here.

Home depot here use to have clean restrooms they must have got the company Memo. Funniest S#@T I have ever read had to stop halfway through was hurting so bad. My wife was behind me griping about me being on here and how she couldn't believe she was jealous of a web site so I let her read it. Hehe she almost wet herself halfway through that shut her up.:rotf::rotf:

Anyone notice the prices on the washers and dryers compared to today's. Microwaves have come down and television for comparable sizes not as big of change. not trying

Just and update had to get the general manager involved on my repair today. Well my broken tape deck was delivered back to the dealer today by UPS. Turns out Clarion repair center had moved and Mother Yamaha had not updated there dealers to the address change. So mine was shipped back. Now there sending me a brand new one tomorrow from Ca. anyone having repair work done on the Clarion side make sure your dealer has the new address.
