Thanks for posting this I have been wondering about this mod. also glad to know there are no changes to the cables. Ditto on the long legs haven't had the issues you have encountered. But I have the long arms to match.

We went for a ride this Sunday started out about 41 degrees @ 9:20 when we left, finally got to 61 degrees by the time we headed back towards home. We wound up riding over 500 miles got home at the last glimmer of sunlight. Was a good day could have used a Taller F4 windshield but it beat sitting here waiting to hear that I won. Patience I have to get the hitch built first got all my materials gathered up while it was raining now its back to work. Also been having an issue with my twinkie leaking had to take it back to the dealer Wed. was a cold ride back home Thurs. evening. My bet is that it's not fixed again but will see. Hope to get the hitch made this weekend.
