  18. The Dr. already told her she would be up walking the day after the first surgery and very, very soon after the second surgery............But i will be off of work from Dec. 24 till Jan.11 or maybe till the 18th. So I will be watching over her like a mother hen.
  19. And this statement coming from one who listens and does everything the doc and the warden tell him to do...............thats too funny..........:rotfl:......
  20. Back at you Bill, and all the rest of VR. Ours will be good, the whole family will be together for Turkey day for the 1st time in 6 years..................
  21. Charlene is finally going to have her surgery to correct her back problems........they cant do it till after the first of the year, Jan. 4 is when it will happen, she will have two procedures while she is in one for the scoliosis and the other for spinal stenosis. One will take place on Monday and the second will take place on Thursday, she will be in the hospital anywhere from one to two weeks ......Tried to get it done before the end of the year since all our deductibles were met, but his schedule was full. So if you would please keep Charlene in your prayers..........she has had a rough time of it for the last 2-3 years..........I dont know how she has done it, but she has. Recovery will take quiet a while........
  22. I think they are trying to tell you something Charlie.:rotfl:
  23. I had this happen once and it got me to thinking, if you post a link to a slightly off color video or joke with the warning it might not be suitable for young viewers should that post fall under the scrutiny of the moderators, since it doesnt show up on your screen in VR......you would have to go to another site to see or read it.............. I was warned that the pictures on another site werent suitable for younger viewers..........even though you had to go to that site to see it, it was up to the member to go look or not to look. And there was nothing in the link that wasnt suitable for younger readers...............just looking for a little clairification.
  24. I am thinking about going back to full coverage insurance on my 83 Venture, especially since I have fixed all the plastic and repainted it, just wondering how many people are carrying full coverage insurance on their 1st Gen. I know the blue book value isnt very high, but if it does get totaled by me, I want to get a little cash for it, dont want to write off the whole bike...............
  25. Rev limiter, cant answer that one I have an 83 and it doesnt have one, and I dont think the later ones do either, but not positive, I know some guys really run the RPM's up to redline and above so I doubt it has one...... The passenger backrest does have an adjustment to incline or recline it by that lever you saw........... That 4 position knob is for ride control for you rear shock, from firm to soft. No warning lite for reserve but a pretty accurate fuel indicator that is computer operated on the dash with all the other warning lights. Hope this help. Congratulations, you just joined the best web site on the net........but a word of warning, IT IS ADDICTING, just ask anyone!!!!!
