Torque Spec for Clutch Cover Bolts?

Just got a chance to find and read my Clymer manual and on page 223 it say's Clutch Cover Bolts Torque is 89 in.lb -

Just finished mine an hour ago. same thing I ask in a thread here a couple days ago. I even asked John at PCW... he says it will not make any difference. also I put mine back like Kent did , ALL IN LINE. mine were scattered all over the place as well. Jeff

What took you so long , yeah , still not sure but I am tighting them up as I type here. to 70 inch lbs. if I need to go to 100 later I will. 70 feels about right though as you say! Thanks! Jeff -

I was just wondering why folks keep buying this brand? I have read so many post about this cracking on them over the years. same with Metzlers.. think I am gunna stick with the M Commanders. Am not wanting to start a tire war here at all. I think that there are way to many of that type tire out there for this to be happening so much.

Yep, some weather, snow is melting though , I am thinking I should be able to ride in a week or so. I also am on my last mods on the Trike. waiting for parts this week. So the timing is getting real close. I have add the bike apart for almost 2 months now , doing all my winter stuff.
