    As far as do-it-yourself I think you named them all. (Get in touch with Carbon-One) great guy and he knows a lot about Tri-Wings! The rest must be done by an authorized dealer. I could be wrong those. the tri-wing was my thinking for a long time though. good luck on what you decide and keep us informed. Jeff

    AWESOME, Now send me ALL of the rest of your MotorKote. You will not be needing that anymore. Also let me know how the sound is after about 200 miles. that is all it will take to be sure the crickets are gone/dead for good! Ohh so you WILL owe me that dinner after all . Keep in touch! Jeff

    SilvrT, My dealer change mine out 5 times. and my warranty was up by two months and Yamaha still covered it. Some dealers will not do it more then once though. They only get paid HALF there shop rate by Yamaha from what my dealer told me. Jeff

    I had to modify my Zumo 550 car adapter for my wife's car for her trip a couple months ago. (to fit in her flower holder in her bug) What I was wanting to know is there anybody out there that will never use there Zumo 550 Car adapter and would want to sell it? Needing a none modified one for my truck. If so give me a shout! Thanks, Jeff

I was not sure if I could add (over fill) the oil in the bike so I added 3 Qts to 10 OZ's of Kote. Next time I will go with the full amount of oil for bike and them add 8 of Kote. Nobody is having problems with the over fill then? Jeff

    Great Job VGoose... What and were is the bad resistor? (picture?) You say (spring?) what and were is that? (picture) . This is something we can do or prevent as a yearly maintenance thing? OR do these caps need to be replaced? Thanks for what your doing! Jeff

    My Mix Again....... 3 Quarts to 12 OZ's (with new filter) This WILL bring it to the TOP LINE on the site glass... no problems so far. You could go 8 to 10 Oz's to have it go up to the middle of the glass. Joe, Thanks so much for bringing this stuff to my attention! ( I would REALLY like folks to POST there MIX rates as well ) Jeff

    Yes, better and better with each ride. You did not comment on your mix , I over dosed and did mine 3 Qts Amzoil to 12 MotorKote. I also noticed that the Amzoil 20/50 did not make any difference over the 10/40 as well. I think the next time I will drop down to 10 OZ's to the 3 Qts. Now I will not say who told me. but I had heard that when he switch to Mobile 1 With MotorKote It got way louder.. So not sure if this will be a problem for others or not, but thought I would post that comment for this thread. I did also notice that when I have my 3/4 helmet on now I do not hear any whine. MotorKote also claims that we should only have to re-add the stuff every 4th Oil Change. I think it will have to be renewed every oil change for it to keep the beast whine tame ! YEP !! Amazing stuff! And I really want that link that jbillerzippo was talking about. I will have MotorKote on my shelf as long as I own this bike from now on! Jeff

    I have had Kreem in my tank for almost 4 years now with no problems and I have cross sectioned the last 6 filters I have used since then. totally clean inside them.     Try this.. go to Kelly Blue Book. and put in the same year 2nd Gen... then put the MM in there. you will noticed that the KBB Value is higher. just my 2 cents worth. Jeff
