I had the town wrong it's Weidman not Blanchard there is a little camp ground outside of Weidman where some of the riders have been staying . It has been in the month of July for the past 4 years that I have knowen Ron:whistling:

Is there a meet & eat this year in Blanchard , Mi this year or has it off the table. I didn't get there last year cause I was in Arkansas with another group I ride with and this year they want to go to Utah this year and I don't have the time or $ to go there. So is there a meet & eat this year or not Ron:whistling:

I don't have a problem with the tapes.. I just transfer from cd's to blank taps and works great and that way I only record the ones I want and it's alot easyer to carry and use tapes than dick when I'm on the road Ron:cool10:

I'm looking to put running lights on and i needto know if there is power points other than the fuse box. I realy don't like going to the battery. any help would be thankful ron:cool10:

how does one get behind the fairing to do some wireing ..I want to hook up some lights and use the lighter to do it. Whistler

Thanks goose I think i,ll try taking the one,s on the fairing off and go from there .. Harley has a pair of adjustable wings on there fairing andthey work great wish they had them for Ventures ron:cool10:

I,m thinking of takeing the clear wings off below the fairing or are they needed to protect the forks.. I thought they might let the air flow a little better on the hot days Ron

I know there has been other threads on this but it almost time for me to get new tires and what I am seeing is Avon Venoms or Metzlers or stock .Any other brands that are any good out there...... Ron:cool10:

It,s About time for new tires I got 14,000 on the set that came with the bike new .. Is there any good sugestion out there? Need a set that will go the distance. Any one out there willing to suggest a good brand Ron:cool10:

As I read this thread it makes me go back to the time I owned a 2001 Voyager 1200 .. Great bike pattern from a early GW Kaw stoped making the voyager for aleast 4 years before the new ones came out ... All the people wanted was to add a curve here and there and up the product a little... The bike was great the way it was.. All I,m saying is be careful what you ask for a better radio a CD player.. There is places that do transfer music to tapes Just got to take the time to check it out... I went from Voyager to Harley Clasic and now Venture and I think it,s a great bike RON:scorched:

I live in the east part of the contry and I went to New Mexico last year and cause of the differents in the atitude the air in take is different it makes a difference... On my 08 I get any where from 37 to 42 miles per it depends on how hard I get on it Ron:thumbsup2: -
The wife and I was out rideing yesterday in the Gaylord area and we pasted the same venture twice the first on the road to the lake of the north ... The bike was black in color.. Mine is burgenty in color... Any way just to say high....Ron
