allen head, hex head, just a reason to buy more shiny tools to put in the tool box. buy the sets, they are cheaper than just buying one-sie or two-sieez. well, maybe when cost divided by number of pieces anyway. he he -

can get our tools out and separate Massey from the desert bar he is haulin around on his scoot's trailer. riders in the back are squabblin about gettin chocolate on their bikes and havin to lick it off the mirrors. besides, haulin the bar around is temptation enough, especially with die-ah-bet-tic on the ride. massey iz havin target fixation trouble with one arm pointing at trailer via handcuff & one one throttle. it does cut wind buffeting, but i need to steer with both eyes. the weather will be better as we head south. then it gets cloudy - but no, it's a large tour bus with a band on board. they stop to check out the dude getting separated from a desert bar. the door opens and out steps . . . . .

I see not mention of pipe thread tape on the cylinder drain plug. in Louisiana, i use pipe tape on any liquid service thread, even auto oil drain plug. Is my practice an extra layer of insurance of no leaks? would anyone consider this on their scooter? dale in La -
say sleepcheater, you posted about your bike for sale in a GPS talk about thread. i am confused. any way, to address your post, right now is a buyer's market and a lot of folks are watching everything, so low offers should not surprise you. you can part out you bike & make more money, but don't feel slighed on the offers. they are just that - offers. it's business. unemployment is getting higher & we all are on the lookout to safe guard the budget. please don't take offense.

that was freaking awsome. great job. there are just not enough folks around to do stuff like that. i would do it if the chance came along. Kudos. great pics. what memories. the young man in the photo by the misses (assumption) will remember this for a life time. it builds character too. what an opportunity. dale in La

myself & lady massey are on a diet - i try not to think about chocolate. i am a choco holic. man, it there was any in this house, it would be mine rite now.

Ok, Massey here does like his golden corral. daydreamin about the delectables waitin to be had is on his mind while his hand is on the throttle. quickstep and annie are in the same boat or rather are on the same bike. Rock city and ruby falls are a great idea. maybe we should head that way - - after we eat, besides with my new chrome cup holder, i have emptied my water bottle & need to bleed my bladder. i have big band tunes playin on my serious radio about now and feelin jus' rite. I look over to the moped and see . . . .

Walter, I have the same front wheel chock from HF. i like mine too. i did remove the cradle thing as my front tire sat in the air. i did not like that so i removed it. it chocks up fine. paid 28 buck with tax and a coupon. i converted my utility trailer but added the heavy duty eye bolts for tie downs. i want to add some sort of parts box, but have not done so yet. good job on yours, i like it. we will trailer ours some also. the wife wants to drive and then ride like a co worker, so we will give it a try. later.

Golden Corral is a smoke free facility. Everyone is welcome. Realizing she was weak at the knees, a table, a chair & some coffee wasn't a bad idea. Aussie Annie was heading straight for the bathroom, but on her way she asked a waitress if they had Vegamite sandwiches. Say what? Vega-whatkindofcrap do you think we server here. check out the bar & that should answer your question. But if you are daring, check out the desert bar for . . . .

As we approached Chattanooga we heard someone start to sing "pardon me boys, is that the Chattanooga choo-choo?" and all of us noticed......................... Glenn Miller coming onto the highway entrance ramp. you could nearly see right through him as the ghostly figure was followed by his band on 1940 Yamaha scoots. we were on the uphill going over a train track and notice it is track 29. before we know it, we hear them in unison - Track 29, boy, you can give me a shine, i can afford to board the Chattanooga Choo-choo. they don't go up the overpass like us, but sort of dissappear into the hill toward the steamer makin its way down the track. just as they are about to go out of site the last one shouts - "Watch out for . . . . . .

i scaped once a few weeks ago. it was unexpected. as you, i did not think i was that far over, but then, sccccrrraape. after the quick mind freak, i thought wow, that was cool and got an afterglow. ok, there it is again. allright, I'm ok now.

Yep, we are in Nashville. we are waitin for boomer for one side note. he won the raffle for a pair of Dollies ( ya know - wax on, wax off). we have finished the eat part after all the meeting and the suds comsuption has reached a plateau as we are lookin to hop on the scoots to the next destination. Quickstep is flyin into Nashville International and Moto/Prize Rent-a-bike has the blue RSV cleaned & gassed up waiting. the map was last held by Yama Mama after we snatched it from the trucker who got it from the ghost rider back at the Dragon. we will have to make tracks to make 2 destinations with winter close on our heels. Aboot that time Ausie Annie's mobile phone rings. It is . . . . . .

these bikes seem to make noises that are associated with something. sometimes you can fix em, other noises you will live with. I am very lucky as our RSV only makes normal bike sounds. the road you drive on will affect noise too. since our bike is not problematic with noise, i don't much of a lead for your noise. the search button near the login box will bring up threads where tire noise has been discussed. wear out those new tires, though & get some better rubber under your scooter. dale in La

Aussie Annie leaned up to Massey & said, you know, i believe Quickstep is on a plane headed this way with a venture bike rented on this side of the pond. this is one great ride and i am sure glad he finished the laundry and is headin this way. I have a feeling Yama Mama is going to direct us to arkansas. Massey, you will ride solo while me MAN takes me to the HUB. Ok Yama, where are we headed? All the riders are tanked up in more ways than one, so lets headem up, move em out, rollin - rollin . . . . . . .

http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20091006/ap_on_re_us/us_motorcycle_club_indictment;_ylt=AsUQF6TUyL4YTnI96RcUxlp0fNdF CHARLESTON, W.Va. – National Pagans Motorcycle Club leaders and more than 50 members and associates of the outlaw biker gang are accused of plotting to kill and extort rivals to consolidate the club's power in the eastern U.S., according to an indictment unsealed Tuesday. The defendants include national Pagans President David Keith "Bart" Barbeito of Myersville, Md., and national Vice President Floyd B. "Jesse" Moore of St. Albans. Also named are members and associates in West Virginia, Kentucky, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Delaware and Florida. The 44-count indictment portrays Barbeito and Moore as leaders of a sprawling organization engaged in kidnapping, robbery, extortion, conspiracy to commit murder and other crimes in an effort to be the pre-eminent biker gang in the region, said Charles Miller, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia. Many of the charges detail violent efforts to intimidate and extort smaller biker gangs and clubs, and illegal gambling centered on raffles for nonexistent motorcycles. Other crimes listed in the 83-page document include drug dealing and weapons violations. "The PMC and its existing support clubs unlawfully threatened and intimidated people who wanted to start a motorcycle club in the PMC territory," the indictment says. Two of the most serious charges involve murder conspiracies. Moore and others are accused of conspiring in September 2005 with a prison guard to kill an inmate suspected of cooperating with law enforcement. Moore also is accused of conspiring with the president of a local chapter of the Avengers Motorcycle Club to commit murder. Neither target was actually killed, Miller said. The indictment further accuses Moore of ordering two Pagans known as Darrell "Mr. Nice Guy" Bumgarner and David "Kicker" Cremeans to beat a member of the Road Disciples Motorcycle Club at a Huntington bar in March 2003. Prosecutors say the men were to collect money from the rival club's president and order him to obey the Pagans or be shut down. Court records did not indicate whether Bumgarner or Cremeans, who are in custody, have lawyers. A federal magistrate spent much of Tuesday determining whether the defendants qualified for legal assistance and ordering most held until hearings next week. The Pagans have about 700 members generally concentrated in the U.S. and are known for aggressive behavior, said Jim Hernandez, a criminal justice professor who teaches a course about gangs at California State University, Sacramento. "They have a tendency, just from what I understand, to be a lot more aggressive, to be a lot more involved in service industries like meth, and they've given their patches away to people who've attacked Hells Angels," Hernandez said, referring to the rival California-based biker gang. In 2002, 73 members of the Pagans were indicted on federal racketeering charges stemming from a fatal brawl at a Hells Angels convention in Long Island, N.Y. The fight left one man dead and at least 10 others injured. Federal authorities targeted the Pagans' activities in the region in the late 1980s and early 1990s, winning convictions against a smaller number of defendants. "At that time, we believed it was certainly a blow to the Pagans Motorcycle Club," Miller said. Forty-nine people were arrested Tuesday morning, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives said. By afternoon, at least three had been released on bond. Barbeito and Moore are being held and prosecutors said they did not know if Barbeito had an attorney. A working telephone number for Moore's attorney could not immediately be located. Federal prosecutors are seeking to hold both men, along with more than 20 others, without bail.

Hi Def TV. Seems like the New Orleans Saints won another game and was heading for the playoffs carrying a hi favorite in the polls to pull the big one for the Big Easy. Yama Mama came sashayin up with a cup of coffee in her hand. Aussie Annie smelled the coffee and with that look only a woman can have, looked at Yama Mama & said "I know, We gotta get this gang moving and back on the road sometime." Yama Mama took a slug of Joe and said in return ". . . . .
