the bike was probably listed in the seller's locale & it sold. or maybe he bent to the wind & his dominant half said he could keep it.

for those of us who have those boxes of "parts" layin around, now is a good time to get your hands on those "hybrid" motherboards that take both SATA & IDE. after a time there will be none and we will all move to SATA drives. i went to put an IDE burner in my Dell thinking i had at least had one IDE port to find zero. now i have to find a SATA burner.

Aussie Annie slapped Massey's helmet & said " And you were gonna take off without going inside for BBQ and music! Look aound and see what we came for. The Dragon Slayer is leading us inside - turn about & follow." so before everyone headed out, we all bought a raffle ticket, ate BBQ, admired the scenery and enjoyed the music. Elvis headed for one last visit to Graceland before going to Fla.. this gave a chance for a 2nd round of farewells as Yama Mama was clicking away with her camera . . . .

all the riders exchanged looks with one another. that look of knowing the Del Fuego's were on one heck of a ride. a ride that the VRiders were glad to have gotten off of. it was memorable by all means, but every ride has a destination. every destination is the beginning of another ride. we all wiped our brows & thanked the power that is that we had made it to nashville safe & sound by the wits all of us have developed since our first brush with a cager gone wild. It's a good thing we did not run into Jerry Springer. Cagers gone wild would have surey gotten this thread deleted. we barely got through editing with the slayers dream pics and the mention of "Dollies". What a ride. Yama Mama was looking through her camera to find pictures of the waterfall in the forest only to fnd all the forest pictures were nothing more than small beams of light with a black background. everyone looked aroound after the cops had gone and decided we better . . . . . .

that ambah-lances are heading for the landslide area with the FBI. it's agents Scully & Mulder going to check out the killer bees. seems there have been some paranormal activity reported in the area by some enquiring minds. Elvis was seen riding 2 up with a motorcylce gang where the men wear pink chaps that disappeared into thin air. truckers said that it was as if there was a curtain only the motorcyclists could see and passed into another dimension. they believed it was the 5th dimension cause RandyR was singing "this is the dawning of the age of Aquarius . . age of aquarius" etc etc. and poof we were gone. the law was looking us over good cause Dolly Parton had been reportedly kidnapped by a rouge band of motorcyclist. Dolly had figured this may happen and having such a good time, she tucked her hair up under her hat so no one would ask her why and put her arm in her jacket soze her "Dollies" were not so conspikuous. she looked away as the fuzz looked us over. the pink chaps were muddy by now so we just pressed on as unmarked white 18 wheel rigs with drivers dressed in white decontamination suites and solid black eyes were not far behind Mulder and Scully. Bejeezers, what a day. the lights of the city put settling down for lunch in our brains. Ahh Nashville here we come. seems like just as you think you have it licked, along comes . . . . .

before anyone discounts my story, i just want to post the web site that is put up by my friend, Francis. he lived just down the road from me in the other park. please take a moment & check his site. it is a reflection of where i lived before being placed in that halfway home. we did so many things together. i just have to visit the web site http://www.mytrailerpark.com/ and i am back home. i can't sleep at night due to the nightmares it brings me. I wake up in a cold sweat & my ankle hurts from the dog chain. Hear me now, i won't put up with being belittled any longer. i am SOMEBODY. i am SPECIAL. ok, I'll sit down now.

We wear FF modular helmets with J & M comm sets that have the clamp on the helmet rim. they work fine for us. i have seen the less expensive ones, but have no experience with them. dale in La

Do ya'll have anything to drink? i am soooo thirsty. i sure hope you and all the riders in this band have the titles for your bike! i am on a mission to hide an important document. i have a contract for those who have a different arrangement to get their bike. there must be a thousand titles wrappedup here. i have to get to the blue ridge parkway before sundown. my riding partner, carter, is already there on an early one horsehorsepower ride. If you get to Nashville, stay off of Broadway Avenue, that place is a wreck. If you want to arrive safely, i would advise you to . . . .

man, talk about forward planning. that wing will be a great trade for the 3rd Gen bike that will come out soon enough. i wish i had thought of that. what a trojan move. lots of horses in dat motor. well, don't put too many miles on it. it may lower the value. enjoy the ride. dale in La

you know, i really would like to have a set of gauges for my little motor bike, but i am afraid to ask. i have learned at an early age not to ask for things. my friends always asked where i got my bruises from. i'd say - oh, i was playing outside and tripped on the dog's chain and fell into the cement pier on the corner of the house. i never did say much of anything that way i could brush my teeth without my lips hurting or bleeding again. my ribs finally quit hurting when i turned 17 and left the halfway house with 2 shirts and one pair of jeans. my social worker said i had potential and should learn a trade. i looked at him with my head sort of cocked to one side waiting for my collar bone to mend and said - who would hire me - i only have 7 fingers. one stub does make it easy to remove tapes from the cassette deck. my scooter is in someone else's name cause i can't prove to the bank how i make that kind of money. but hey, i don't want to ramble on. if you can see your way into my heart, i could sure use those gauges. my buddy who drives a 1982 Plymouth Fury wants my cassette deck to replace the one that was taken. i can take some of the sale money of the cassette deck to pay for the shipping the gauges. just let me know. dale in La

out of the forest steps a gnome holding a fuel filter for an RSV. while i hold the clutch, aussie annie reaches down and takes the filter the gnome is offering her. he said he heard the white horn get blown & knew we needed help. with all the trucks & motorcycle air horns goin off, who the heck could tell that from the mystical white horn of help. the gnome looked at aussie annie, i can get you and your band of merry motorcycle men and maidens around this wreck. just pour 2 drops of this potion into each gas tank and they will be nimble to follow the path of osloh to take us around the bend & back on the road. all the riders knew this was our ticket. as we put the potion into our tanks, the world seemed to go into slow motion as our scooters began moving almost by themselves. up a berm and over the ridge we moved effortlessly with a low rumble through trees that seemed to rise forever up into a canopy of mist and yellowish light. we passed a waterfall where the water was unlike anything to be found in the RSV picture galleries. the gnome stopped the rider in pink chaps & was told to lead the way down into the ravine and go left looking for the light of our world. we broke through the light and landed on the other side of the wreck just in time to see . . . . . .

Engine cutting out
massey130 replied to screamstone's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
while i am just starting to maintain my own RSV, the low fuel light and F on the ODO should work. finding out why those don't work should be put on the list. i try to squeeze every ounce of fuel before gasing up, i try to watch the fuel gauge & beat the low fuel indicators, but not always. our RSV begins to act fuel starved when it's time to switch to reserve, that is when i look at the cluster & see low fuel light. also, when i am throttle happy, i don't get my 195 miles to reserve, therefore i dont rely on miles per tank for a guestamate to empty. good luck -
i have the opposite problem. i set it & have to give it some gas or it will drop 5 - 8 mph before trying to really catch up. then it steadies out w/no problems. dale in La.

Anyone purchased from Harber's Cycle Parts recently?
massey130 replied to Jdix's topic in Watering Hole
i have heard that we do group buys here. i have an idea. why doesn't everyone who has an ebay account go to that product, click ask seller a question, and ask why hasn't he delivered the item purchased by Jdix. Of course, ask politely, but if several hundred of these hit his mail box, maybe it will shake some mirrors out of them. -
If you come to have the title & keys, what a great way to run to the store with a back pack & short list. what - 60 miles to the gallon?

i just bought off of ebay a BRAND NEW V-FACTOR MOTORCYCLE AIR SHOCK PUMP. THIS PUMP IS HAS A DIE CAST BASE AND 2 - 3 PSI BLEED OFF BUTTONS FOR PRECISE ADJUSTMENTS.0-60 PSI GUAGE WITH A 360" SWIVEL ON THE AIR HOSE AND A 9" LENGTH. i got it for 29.95 and free, yea free shipping. i did an ebay search for motorcycle hand pump. I hope i did ok as most members have the progressive suspension hand pump. the cheapest i could find progressive was here - http://www.debrix.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=20118-M1 for 38 dolla's and 13.5o cent fur shipping. when it arrives, i will put it to use & see how our RSV behaves under a little bit of pressure. carb tune stuff is next on the list of tools to aquire. dale in La
