  1. Hoping to meet up with you George.
  2. Anyone here going to attend this? We have a condo there & will be heading there Friday. It runs Friday through Sunday. Just curious, hoping to meet some fellow VR members.
  3. I use my Blackberry 8830 about 50% of the time. I use Opera browser on the phone. It syncs all my bookmarks on all the computers (& Blackberry). Works great.
  4. Hey Don, may I make a yearly donation by money order? If so, just let me know where to send it. Thanks. Bob
  5. Thank you very much.
  6. Would someone please tell me what size this bolt is? I know it's bigger than 15mm. I need to get the right sized socket. Thanks in advance. Couldn't find the info in the manual.
  7. Yeah, I've been watching that site for the last few months. I like the idea. I thought about getting one for my daily 40-mile commute to/from work, but my wife didn't like the idea of spending more money on another bike. Sure has my interest, though.
  8. LOL. Didn't think of it that way.
  9. Actually, he can see everything on this site using the BlackBerry browser (I use Opera Mini browser). 75% the time I'm on here, I'm using my BB (now, for example). I'm assuming, of course, that he has a data plan. Love this phone. Love this site. Be careful FV.
  10. Yes, I've also got a few screws loose. My bike has had them, too. (LOL) I lost 1 on a trunk support, almost lost them on a saddlebag lid. Didn't notice the saddlebag till I pulled into my driveway. It was wide open & all scratched up. I tightened every nut & bolt I found that was loose. No problems since then. BTW, Yamaha replaced my saddlebag, no charge, no problem.
  11. That's about right.
  12. I hung mine from a hole behind where a center stand would go.
  13. Here's another idea: just use your smartphone. I have a BlackBerry 8830 with which I can browse the internet. In fact, I'm doing that very thing right now. No laptop needed. My BlackBerry is always with me. Takes almost no space. Half the time I'm on this site, I'm using my phone, not the desktop or my wife's laptop puter at home. Just a thought.
  14. Is this what you're looking for?
  15. My wife got me this, but the parts that are supposed to be attached to the gas tank with Velcro don't even come close to the tank. Anyone else find this a problem? The rest of it works fine: the 2 holes line up correctly under the front of the seat, the gas cap hole is fine, although quite a tight fit, & the plastic thingy around the gas cap holds everything down quite well. I didn't remove the rubber piece down the middle of the gas tank. So, at the front of the gas tank, the tuxedo tie sticks out some, but certainly would not be able to attach to the gas tank front. Am I missing something? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
  16. Try this page at Custom Dynamics. They're near the bottom of the page.
  17. Hey Bill, You should learn how to better express yourself, say what you really mean. Stop sugar-coating everything. LOL Anyway, I agree with you 100%. I respect you for having the gumption to say it. More of us should be so outspoken. Hope to meet you someday. Take care.
  18. Just in case someone's interested, Eastside Motosports in Bellevue, WA has this for sale & said they would deal. (It's where I bought mine.) The indication to me was that they sell maybe 1 per year. They apparently didn't order any new ones since they still have the new 2006 on the floor.
  19. Here's the one I have: CTEK US 800 Battery Charger It works great. My bike used to take 2-3 seconds to start & 2-3 tries before it would start until I started plugging the charger in every day. Now it starts first try within the first second. Surprised me. So, lesson learned here: fully charged battery & the bike starts right up.
  20. Thanks, Tom.
  21. Those of you that have put this in your tires: Was there any problem getting the stuff in with the 90* bend in the valve stem?
  22. I just had these put on today. Are you saying the front should be @ 42 & the rear @ 50? That's what the max is on each tire. The dealer set them 36 & 42.
  23. My wife & I saw it last week & we think it's a pretty good movie. We are Morgan Freeman fans, as well. Go see it.
  24. Has anyone got this one &, if so, how do you like it? http://www.wingworx.com/ProductImages/bbp/bbho/images/BBH50-106BK.jpg
