  1. Just wanted to thank you again Sunny for a great 5 days of riding. From start to finish the roads were fantastic & as expected you were good fun & great company. Charlie, as usual, it was good to see you, get in a lot of riding & spend time together. Bob, my new friend, it was a real pleaure & I'm sure we'll all being doing this again together real soon. Those long riding days went by in a flash. Be safe ya'all Robert
  2. Yes looking forward to meeting everyone. The contact numbers for the Bancroft Motor Inn: bancroftmotorinn.com, 613/332-4900, 528 Hastings Street N., which as I mentioned, should not be far from the Best Western. Robert
  3. We would like to join you on this ride. It'll be our first with the Venture Riders. Couldn't get in at the Best Western but booked at the Bancroft Motor Inn which I believe is just down the street. They seem to have rooms available if anyone else is interested. We are looking forward to the ride & meeting some other venture riders at last. Robert & Sharon
  4. Thanks RR. We are now going to add a couple of changes to our 1st route, adding Mount Wash & the Kancamangus Highway. Don't think either will slow us down too much & both sound like great detours. Robert
  5. Thanks Maineac for the reply. Much appreciated. Yes #11 is in NY and connects with #2 in Vt which we were going to follow south past South Hero & work over to #15E. The rest of our route is pretty much as you suggest. Maybe not the most scenic but we do have a limited amount of time & this seemed to be the best we could do. We plan on riding to Saint John NB & taking the ferry from there into Digby NS where my buddy is from. Thanks again for your help. Robert
  6. A couple of us are riding from Toronto, Ont to Nova Scotia next Friday. We are planning to take most of the way there through the US. Once into Vermont, we are planning roughly the following route:#11 south to just north of Burlington Vt then #15 east joining #2 around St Johnsbury following it through NH into Maine all the way to Bangor then #9 into New Brunswick. We hope this is a fairly senic reasonably quick route without getting onto the interstates or major highways for too long. Can anyone from these areas comment on these roads, the conditions we may expect or anything we need to be cautious about during the trip. (ie construction, closures etc.) Do not expect there will be but just thought I would ask the question to be sure. Thanks for any help or comments you are able to provide. Robert
  7. Hi Reiny, Unfortunately that week is too busy for me at work but I did hope to get over for at least one of the days. Should I be registering if I am only able to attend the one day ? Also, what day would look best to meet & ride with the group ? Thanks, Robert
  8. Thanks Ian, I'm going to pick up a set. Robert
  9. I'd like to get a set of these. Do you happen to have a link ? Thanks, Robert
  10. Hi Squidley, I'm definitely interested in a set. I've sent you a PM previously & have no problem going with the new material. I can give you my mailing address & pay on PayPal. Just let me know how you want to proceed. Thanks, Robert
  11. Squidley, I've been in touch with you recently about getting a set of these brackets. I'm still definitely interested in them whether made of steel or aluminum. Robert
  12. Thanks for the info. about the classified section. Good price ! The bracket seems more secure then the p-clamp method so I've contacted Squidley by e-mail and hope to get something shipped whenever he can. Robert
  13. Squidley, I understand that you sell an adapter plate for mounting the RK mufflers on the RSV headers. What is your pricing ? Is there an advantage to using the plate over using a p-clamp ? Thanks for the advise as well. Robert
  14. Thanks everyone for all the input. There are some nice looking pieces of trunk luggage being used. Decided to go with Yamaha's Cordura trunk rack bag & expandable tank bag. That should give us all the capacity two of us will ever need - (Ya right!!) Robert
  15. Squidley, thanks for the advise. That is a nice looking trunk bag. Robert
