Lewis, thanks for the limelight on the seat I'll also add that if the bid goes over $60 I will kick in $15 towards the shipping of the seat...hows that for incentive

Got home and washed the bike and went out yesterday, just a quick jaunt up to Port Huron for supper with Lonna. 65 degrees and beautiful! and yes my disposition is much better, I very possibly will be stirring the pot more this next week:stirthepot: Yeah I know thats hard to believe

Now right there folks is one of the most unselfish acts that I have heard offered. Only a 2nd genner would put forth the olive branch like that to make sure a 1st genner could be in the fun....way to go Ron

Lowell Pryor as mentioned Wild hair 39 on the site, affectionatly called the Ambassador and yes he does traverse the country. Puts somewhere around 40K a year on his bikes, he's in Texas DeBerry east Texas as he likes to call it. One of my most favorite people I have met from here, if you get the chance to hook up with him I would suggest you take the time out to do. Great guy to talk to and the stories

It's good to hear the gearheads talking... My favorite car was a '67 Barracuda fastback, it was a formula S model with a 340 and tri power, Muncie 4 speed and a Lakewood scatter shield, Dana 410 rear end and was a handful to say the least. My best at the strip was an 11.9 I still cry when I think about that car

Very good of you to keep the bike in the family Jim, I certainly hope you dont plan on leaving us here. If so you will need to head back over seas to get away from us, many of us are prior military and WE WILL HUNT YOU DOWN!

Where are you planning to travel this summer?
Squidley replied to Yama Mama's topic in Watering Hole
Hate to say it but if the econmy doesn't pick up we wont be going anywhere but local meets. Were going to put the house up for sale in the spring and all the extra monie we have (which is very little) will go toward tweaking the property for sale. We'll be at Maintenance day, but other than that....I don't know -
Good on ya Gary, keep right at it and you'll get better everyday. Once you can start working out you'll get stronger and feel better

I've lost a bit over 5 lbs, but I'm definitely getting stronger and in better shape. That being said I need to get to the doc's and have them do some blood tests to check and see if my Thyroid is working right. I have drastically changed my eating habits and doing 600 steps everyday at work along with some weight lifting. Just going to keep going with it as I haven't been to the Chiropractor in 3 months.
