Knock on wood have not had that problem. I guess I dont ride when most animals come out to play, I have seen then on the side and so far have not encountered a hit. Hope I dont either but if I do I will be praying I come out of it in a good way. For the rest of you glad to here you're here to tell about it and ride safe. -

I JUST RECEIVED THE OVER SIZE MIRRORS FOR THE RSV FROM E-BAY ITEM NUMBER IS 320163805535 THEY ARE VERY CHEAP,CHEAP,CHEAP I THOUGHT THEY WOULD BE NICE BUT THEY ARE MADE OF PLASTIC AND THE MIRROR IS CUT SMALL AND YOU CAN SEE THE EDGE UNDER WHERE IT IS MOUNTED UNDER THE RUBBER AND LOOKS LIKE IT IS SPIDERED AROUND THE EDGES. THIS WAS MY 2 CENTS ABOUT THEM, YOU DECIDE. STAR4772 JOE THE SAYING GOES YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. THIS IS WHAT I SENT THEM: Dear thecycleking,I had just received my mirrors and I must say I am very dissappointed in them. The reason why is because they are plastic and not metal and also the workmanship is bad. You can see the edge of the mirror under rubber mounting and it looks bad. I dont know if I got a bad set or this is the way they are but I am not happy. My question is what can we do about this. I dont feel I should be charged a 20% restocking fee for a bad product. Well Dennis glad you are here to tell about it. Some are not so lucky.You just never know when its your turn only the man upstairs know's. Just not your time. Sure you feel the same way. I also been there but was hit from behind as I was making a turn right. Person ran a red light behind me as I was turning right the next street after the light. Went flying landed on my head helmet split and came off and I am still here to tell all. Thank God for that. So glad to see you are still here to share with all. on new bike sounds like you'll need another one. Now for the tires how much for them? Joe star4772

Just a thought my friend who has a harley got turn downs put on his. This is what he did, I think the measurment is around 4 to 4 1\4" you can check at a truck (Semi) chrome shop and get a 4" turn out and have someone tac weld to the end of the muffler on the inside to where you cant see it. They carry differant sizes so you might find one with a snug fit to use. When I seen it when he got done it looked like a stock muffler. He has also done this to a Goldwing. Might be worth a shot. I have the I-way 250 and I like it real well compact in size and works great. Al Bates also has one and he loves it as well. If you have a mp3 player thats good because only real issue not much for mp3 songs on I-way 250. You can add a differant card with all your music but then you have no gps service so its one or the other. In other words the I-way 250 is great as any other if you have a seperate mp3 player or XM or Sirus radio hook up which I have. Hope this helps. Star4772, Joe

Chrome edging around windshield helps keep rain from coming up over windshield and hitting you in the face. A friend of mine has it he said it helps allot. I have not tried it yet but might. Joe star4772
