    I had never heard of the moving wall. I have been to the Wall though. Went even thoough my exwife told me not to. She didn't like her father becouse he was a drunkerd. I actually took the time to talk to the man . Yes he was a drunk. He knew his problem but drinking hisself to sleep was the only way to get rid of the dreams. He said if he slept sober he could see the faces and hear the thing s he had done. I can only imagine what he went through. No one in his family would take him. Even though I wasnt there it was an awe insipiring place. Thanks for all you guys do did or will do. David

    1. When do you expect to arrive?As of now the wife and I are going to try to get in midday fri. that all depends on whether we can get of fri or not will let you know tommorow. 2. How many to expect for the picnic Thursday evening? Unfortunately we cany get of on thursday. I f al goes well we will be there fri. Skid this also is contingent on whether or not we can pitch a tent. Money is a little tight wright now but we really do want to be there. Thanks for the invite, David The wif echecked her schedule and found out she has to work on fri night taking pics for my moms class reunion. She told me to go without her but that is also her bday weekend so I guess we will stay home. Sorry for the premature post.Maybe next time as when I got her to tag along on a m&e She had a blast.     Went for a ride with the wife and a friend today. Just as we got into Martinsville we made a lane cahange to pass a tractror trailer and a car and as we passed the car shge decided to pull over on me. I was last in line as ususal.This lady pushed me all the way over to the comncrete medium to where I emidiatley started throwing sparks of of the concrete where my center stand rubbed it. Then she came on over completely in the lane and had me between her car and the medium. After a good hard kick to her driver side door she realized I was there. As she was pulling on up I was pissed so I kicked the back drivers side door also. We got up next to her at the light and tried to get her to [ull over so I could check for damages and she refused and drove off. I call the police and the officer who came to the scene told me not to worry about what i did as maybe now she will look before she changes lanes. Therre was no damage to my bike, just a little scrape mark on the center stand where it made contact. Now as for her car there is 2 size ten dents on the drivers side. Watch out there.They sure aint looking for you. David

    I heard about the mini matenance day at the sleeperhawk household. Do we kneed to make time and bring the work truck instead of a bike. As of wright now I cant make it but it might be able to be arranged David

    kepp us up to date as to where you will be at aproximately what time. The wife and I don't live all that far away from the parkway and love to ride it. Who knows, maybe we can make it up for a small M&E. David

    Ok, my question is simple,I think. I am presently using a VOX modular helmet and will soon be going to a gmax modular helmet. Do I need a specific type of headset or will any work for both helmets. I am also not sure if I kneed a headset for a 3/4 helmet, full face helmet or what. Any info would be greatly appreciated. David

    triad powewr sports is just down the road from where you are. They are located in greensboro Nc and I have had good results using them. Not sure how they are on the second gens but yoou could give them a call. There number is 1-336-852-4228. I'm not much of a mechanic but if there is any way can help let me know.     Welcome tothe club. Don't forget the $5 daonation to the oopps i dropped it club. Already paid my twenty in the time that I've had the bike. Glad to here that you 2 are ok and the bike faired it well. Good luck on the search froa new for the wife bike. David:thumbsup:

    Now I know this is not much to brag about considering what this bike is capable of. but for me its a big step. Considering the person on back is the most important person in my life. It is also the first time I've had a passenger since getting back on a bike in 20 years. (Big wreck). Fortunately I wasn't hurt way back then, but I still ride with those demons every now and then. Add the pressure of my wife being with me and the old demons rose up and said hello.They were imidiately quieted as soon as the front tire hit the pavement and my wife put her arms around me a spoke in my ear. She told me all was well as our children were there to protect us from harm. HAd a few nervous moments. The first stop. The first hard turn and the other first that came along. Now just to remember to raise the air pressure the next time. As all was well and comfy, but rearend bottomed out a time or 2. Put her on the center stand and put the sytem to the high level and all was well with life again. I now its not much to brag on , but I just had to anyways. thanks for lisetening, or should I say reading. David
