    yep I actually have 2 bells on my old girl. And if this is all that went wrong Im happy. I arrived home safely so its all good just would like to get her back together. And being as it off Ill change the lights out to led's while I can. David

    Some where out there on 81 in VA is a rear trunk reflector / lghit cover off of my baby. Ill post up a pic of what I kneed later. Its the plastic piece that sits between the turn signal covers on the trunk .My bike is a 91 Vr. If anyone has one of these extra they want to sell please let me know. Thanks in advance.     Laura and I just pulled in a little bit ago. It was fun being as we were ther newbies to maintenence dahy and had no idea of what to do or expect. Thanks Don and Elileen for alowing us to borrow a piece of your realestate to place pur tent. On the way home we met up with Patricia, Jrichard and one other rider.Sorry we didnt catch your name . And then today in the blue ridge parkway we met Midnite and his lovely other half. We were setting talking at a overlook to a couple that was hiking the trail on their way to Roanaoke for the night and eventually to geargia to their destination. It was mentioned that they were running a little low on food and being as we were on wheels and they were on their feet we just had to feed them. Cant stand to see someone hungry when I got food. And besides we had been eating ham sandwithes for 3 days and was just plain sick of it. They were happy and their dog was too...Good luck my friends. After that we hit the slabs to get on home and ran into rain. Thank god for dry ducks. DAvid

    we are partially home. We made it to Rob and Clares at about 6 or so. Now Im in here painting a few walls in a bedroom for them wright quick. Thanks Daon and Eileen for putting us up . We had a ball and will plan on coming back again. We will be home some time tues night. I want have internet with me till then ( borowwing Robs cpu to type this) so In I'll post up again when we get there. gonna get back to work now and earn my room and board.HEHEHEHEHEE David

    We will be headed out by 10 am headed to stephen city va. We will meet up with aamcotrans tonight and finish the ride into oberlin fri morning/day. Everyone be safe out there. We are so psyched to be there this year. It is our first time at MD as it just wasnt in the cards last year. David

    thanks don, im not too terribly worried for myself but she already gets cranky when she woke up early.Without a shower sometime in there it could get real bad for me. She a real outdorrsy type so she would even be good with a dip in the pond I would just have to set up top with a shotgun and keep the pon monster away. David

    OK its my first time to MD. Now besides any parts for mintenence, Is there anything I kneed to bring? I understand toilet paper is a comdity that should be brought also. Now my wife asked and my answer was I dont know. So here goes. Since Don is nice enough to let us camp in his yard, what does every one do about a shower? Im sure we can arrange something but she was just wandering. David

    That sucks. hope you catch the guys or gals (pink paint) that did this to your house cheaper for now would be to paint the siding. I know, its vinyl so you dont have to paint , but it would be a quicker cheaper start to get you back to original color. Most any exterior latex that is a good quality will stick to it and stay. Downside of that is then you have to paint it instead of being able to clean it, They make some stuff that you can buy at sherwinn williams called grafity remover that just may remove what you couldnt wash off just do a smalll area to make sure it doesnt mess up the siding.     not sure on 2nd gen but on the 1st gen it says to only have the oil to the center of the site galss between the 2 lines not all the way to the top. David

    not trying to start an argument. I was a pit bull owner. I have owned and do own dogs that are not on the list of agresive dogs. Only one I had ever bite anyone was a full blooded black lab. But thats just me I guess. I'm must be one of the few who actually love my four legged friends and treat them well. As already stated above , not trying to start an arguement. We all have different opinions. Thats the beauty of the nation. I think what you said was well written and informed. I just disagree. You are correct. You dont hear about dramatic bites from other breeds. Doesnt mean they dont bite. respectfully in disagreement David

    hey Ben, Gald to see you on here. Talk, vent ,scream, whatever it takes to get through whats on your mind. I understand your feelings. At 21 I had an accident on my 88 1150 intercepter. I was doing 65 mph when a litle old lady pulled out in fromt of me. I was not injured luckily so Im not going to try to compare what happened to me to what went on with you. It took me almost 20 years to get back on a bike and still have the deamons stick their heads up and say what if. The mind game is however the same. Do what you must to clear your head. Although your wife and mother are a big part of your mental stability, its still your decision to make. I made the decision not to ride again because of my mother. For me it was the wrong decision.     Ok now we got to do some thinking. How to move goldfish from NC to OH and arive with them still alive. Thinking of looking for abattery operated air pump and put the fish in a five gallon bucket. HMMMMMMMM David
