  1. I think the Ultra is a beautiful bike and there would be one parked beside my RSV too if I could afford/justify it.
  2. I'm not sure if Eddie has any large patches available, you would have to contact him. I have small patches and decals.
  3. Yes, it means MAYBE? SilvrT has sent me back the csv file. I'll see if I can get it to work. Will try to get on it tonight.
  4. For the passing lamps, look for a switch beside the power outlet on the left side of the front fairing. That is where a lot of them are installed. Also, some are wired so that they only come on with the low beams even when the switch is on. As for the turn signals, how are you testing them? They will not automatically cancel if you are sitting still.
  5. Unfortunately, I THINK Charlie forgot to take Quickstep. I'm not sure because I had to leave for Cincinnati on Monday but I think I saw him sitting on the counter when I left. I'll look when I get home on Saturday.
  6. Great to hear from you and a big thanks to Dianne for keeping us updated. Now don't worry about that big ol' brute of a nurse...you just tell him that if he gives you a hard time..we've got a little cupcake for him. Glad you are feeling better but you are under order from ALL of us to take care of yourself.
  7. I'm going to email you one of the sql files that are currently used.
  8. Wow....that hurts...that REALLY hurts.... that you would suspect ME of such a thing....
  9. According to the classifieds developer, the program is written to accept the alpha numeric codes.
  10. Yea, the zip code database seems to have some errors. I have tried updating it a couple of times but it is still not perfect. The problem with adding the Canadian postal codes is that there does not seem to be a list that can easily be converted. The US zip codes are available for free so the programmer of the classifieds software included the data base with the software. There seems to be no free version of the Canadian codes. I could purchase one but then it would most likely not be in the correct format and would have to be totally modified before it could be imported. Here is what is required. Maybe we have somebody here who would be willing to tackle it. Here are the fields in our zipcode database, As stated as long as you can find a zipcode cvs file with this information then it could be manipulated into the format of the zipData database. CREATE TABLE zipData ( zipcode varchar(6) NOT NULL default '', ZipCodeType char(3) NOT NULL default '', City varchar(128) NOT NULL default '', CityType char(3) NOT NULL default '', State varchar(64) NOT NULL default '', StateCode varchar(5) NOT NULL default '', AreaCode int(5) NOT NULL default '0', lat varchar(8) NOT NULL default '', lon varchar(8) NOT NULL default '') ENGINE=MyISAM DEFAULT CHARSET=utf8; so if you can find a canadian zip code cvs and format the data in the proper row sequence you can import that right into the zipdata database. The area code field is not needed so there could just be a blank row used there. There is one available here but I don't know how out of date it is: http://www.populardata.com/downloads.html
  11. Illegal? That's no good. There MUST be some place you can leave them. Do they some kind of designated drop area? NOT that I would ever leave MINE anywhere.
  12. More good ones. A LOT of pictures taken this year. Thanks for posting them.
  13. Kent answered the technical part so I'll just say that no, I didn't notice any difference in the way it runs. I wouldn't expect to though because like he said, all were technically within spec. There is a real peace of mind factor though in knowing that they are OK. It was worth doing and very good training. It is a good sized job and I would dread doing it again but am confident that I could do so.
  14. Great job as usual. It can never be said that our meets aren't well documented.
  15. Sorry my friend. To post what I was thinking would require me to violate my own rule of the site's PG rating.
  16. I agree. I also can't answer your question about the larger Avon but I do know that Metzler claimed that that size would work on the RSV but at least a couple of folks here have tried it and it rubbed. There is very little clearance, I wouldn't recommend it.
  17. I have deleted some of the posts in this thread. It is OK if we all don't agree on everything but there is no need for the snide remarks, name calling, etc.
  18. Yes, that is conclusive proof. What bothers me more than anything though is that it LOOKS like Cupcake is pinching my nipples. It bothers me even MORE that I don't recall him doing it.
  19. Yea, promises promises promises.
  20. Gary, you make sure that she receives our thanks. They were fantastic. I MAY have had more than one piece.
  21. Heck Carl....you are going to make me feel bad about that condolences email that I sent Marca in regards to your anniversary. You DID make me remember another person that I forgot to thank though. Thank you MarCarl for the annual pepperettes. I LOVE those things.
  22. Maintenance day is so busy that I often don't know who is doing what. I want to thank some folks but am afraid that I'll miss somebody, in fact, I know that I'll miss somebody so if any of you other can help me single out the folks who worked so hard to help others, it will be appreciated. As usual, V7Goose worked his butt off helping as many people has he possibly could. That guy is like the energizer bunny, I don't know how he does it but thanks MUCH Kent. Monty was hard at work helping people with gauge installs. I hardly saw him throughout the gauge. I know that the folks appreciated it and he did a great job. Ponch showed up a little later but I understand also got busy with the gauge installs. You have developed a great product for us Ponch. Thanks much for all that you do. Dingy not only arranged for us to do the Quaker Steak and Lube dinner on Friday night but was also there all day Saturday offering his assistance to anybody who needed it. Muffinman came all the way across the big pond just to work his butt off as usual. Thanks my friend for all your help and for just being the great person that you are. Squidley was running from bike to bike as usual. Syncing carbs and doing whatever else had to be done. I was unsure if he was going to make it this year but there he was. Thank you my friend. A lot of you ladies helped out with getting the food ready to be served. I know that I saw Mini in the kitchen as well as Becky and Lonna. There were others too but I just can't remember who all was lending a hand. So thanks to all and to the many others that joined in to help your fellow riders. I KNOW that I'm missing many. Please jump in here and offer a word of thanks to all who lent you a hand.
  23. OK..I know that Lonna didn't make cheese cake this year but there WAS some cheese cake present and once again, it was very good. I don't know who to thank though. So whoever it was, thank you very much, I did enjoy a SMALL piece of it late on Saturday night.
  24. I just hope you didn't leave that one that likes ringing the bell. He was a real pain in the back side.
