  1. Sad to hear that he is giving it up after all those years. Would probably be a nice little business to own.
  2. If you can login with your wife's computer but not your own, then you are remembering something incorrectly when you enter it on yours. Send me a PM or an email and I can reset the password to whatever you like. I am also updating your email for you but that would not prevent you from logging in.
  3. Yes I do.
  4. Yea, we did that in Arkansas last year and it's really a good idea. I think I still have my Cinderella created Tweety Bird name badge here. I'll see what I can come up with for everybody else.
  5. Well...looks like I will have to follow in the car. Folks, there is also a good BBQ place about 15 minutes away right up 20/480. Famous Dave's. Probably the best choice if you really want BBQ chicken. There is also a place about 8 miles away in Wellington, OH called Big Dog's BBQ. He usually caters but I also think he sells BBQ there. You may be able to order, pick it up there and bring it back if you want to. I'll have the number if somebody wants to call him on Thursday when they get here. Monty, yes, I have a good sized fire pit in the back and a smaller one in front near the pond. I also have plenty of firewood. I never looked into the Porta Potties. I may still do that this week...just haven't done it because I personally HATE those things. The Quaker Steak suggestion isn't bad either. I've eaten there and it's pretty good. They are all about the same.
  6. OK folks, I'm going to pull the plug on the group reservations for BBQ at the Moosehead Grill on Friday night. Eileen and I drove up there today and it's just too much trouble on top of everything else we have going on for the weekend. We have to reserve their "Party Room", pay the $100.00 rental, pay a per head price of around $16.00 per person and the "catering" menu that we have to select from is basically the same as what we have already ordered for the Saturday meal. So, basically everybody will be on their own for Friday night. If some want to go to the Moosehead, that is fine and I'm sure they can handle multiple small groups. Some of us usually go to a little place called Scoreboards in LaGrange, about 8 miles away. There is also a small Mexican Restaurant in Oberlin that is pretty darn good and also a Chinese place in the same building. So......everybody can decide where they want to go and everybody doesn't have to go to the same place. Hopefully this is OK with all of you.
  7. Folks...I'm pulling the plug on the Friday night reservations for Moosehead Grill. I will start a new thread with details. Basically though, everybody will be on their own on Friday night.
  8. I sure hate to hear this. I know that Don has been through a lot over the past few years. He will certainly be in our prayers.
  9. Come on now...you KNOW the rules. Pictures, Pictures, Pictures. Congrats on the new bike. Hope it brings you miles of smiles.
  10. WHAT? Nobody ever worked on your bike? hmmmm.....not even on a Sunday?
  11. That looks GREAT Ponch. I wondered when you were going to reveal it. If I didn't already have my Baron's tach and your 3 gauge bezel already installed, I would be all over that.
  12. OK....I'm pretty sure that the brand is EverStart.
  13. I bought one at Walmart last year when I needed one quick. I think they only had one brand that would fit. I don't remember what it was but I'm pretty sure it will be your only choice. It has been fine so far.
  14. Well yea...there's always that. BUT...he DID ask specifically about Saturday.
  15. Yea, that mini trouble maker. I'll be watching her.
  16. Usually around 8:30 or so.
  17. Ice is about the same distance. About 4 miles is the closest. Now folks...let's not scare all the newcomers. I don't want folks to get the idea that this is a drunken party. I've never seen anybody drunk and behaving badly. A lot of folks don't drink at all and I usually have no more than one or two beers all day. ESPECIALLY those that plan to go for a ride later in the day. All the folks that I've met at these maintenance days are very responsible people.
  18. OK folks, I just got off the phone with the Moosehead Grill. The only way they can accommodate a group our size is if we rent their "party room". It will hold about 60 people. It would cost us $100.00 to rent the room and I would have to meet with them to come up with a menu and a "per head" price. Are we still interested? Also, just a side note. In my opinion. The food is just OK...not fantastic. I've only eaten there one time and though I thought it was OK, it was not good enough that I have been back yet. That was probably 3 years ago.
  19. Counting Eileen and I, that's about 32 people so far. Anybody else? I'm figuring around 7:00. Is that OK with everybody?
  20. I don't think the one in Amherst is a Comfort Inn. If I'm not mistaken, it's a Days Inn.
  21. Yes, I always have soft drinks and water iced down.
  22. Don't worry Boomer...I'm not a big drinker but if offered, will enjoy one of those cigars and a shot of that single malt in your honor.
  23. hmmmm....watch it now Charlie. I think I remember you posting about a couple of other brands you rode over the past couple of years.
  24. Not correct though. They changed it at some point but I don't remember what year. I know that on my '99, you do have to hold down both buttons to activate the clock.
  25. Starting around 9:30 AM.
