WOW...that would almost make me a Wingnut.

OK folks...I know it's kind of late notice but I had posted before that I would try to see if we could get a discount on Dyno runs at a local shop about 4 miles up the road. I had noticed a new sign in front that said "Dyno now available". I stopped and talked to him today. He usually charges $90.00 for a Dyno run that does not include tuning. He said that if we had enough people interested, he would do them for $40.00 each. I personally don't see the need for one but if enough of you are interested, I will call him back tomorrow and let him know. He has to do them in the late evening/night due to the noise and the fact that there is another business next door to him. So...it's your call.

We'll have no stinkin' buckets around here. NO RAIN DAYS. Maintenance Day will happen rain or shine. Sorry..I can't cancel $1500.00 worth of food.

Just type your post and then before hitting "submit", scroll down and you'll see "manage attachments". Click on that and you can attach and upload the pics from your hard drive. This thread should help: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=31066 To resize them, it depends upon which operating system you are using. See this thread for Windows 7: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=46324 or this one for Vista: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=25167 For XP: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1859

hmmm....that's the first I have heard of it. I don't keep up with the local happenings too much I guess.

Don't worry about the toilet paper...we always have plenty. I DON'T want to be responsible for dirty bottoms. It may get crowded but some folks do use the shower in the house. Just bring towels if you wish to do so.

Good...I knew it was there but couldn't remember what it was called. AV or something. I could have gone outside and looked but that would have meant getting our of my recliner.

Thanks for the clarification guys. I don't remember the backup fuse. Figured it was an extra but it makes sense now.

Probably "back up" as in spare.

New here and a question

That is pretty much a bargain any way you look at it. Even if most of the plastic is good, it will part out for MUCH more than that. The biggest issue may be 2nd gear. The early Ventures, through around mid 1985, have a tendency to lose 2nd gear somewhere between 40,000 - 60,000 miles. It is a pretty involved repair but can be done if you are a good mechanic. Some folks just keep riding them and just skip second gear. -
I hate senseless acts like that. A person works hard in this world to finally have a house and a few nice things and then some lowlifes with a brain cell count of about 1 does something like that. So sorry it happened to you. I sincerely hope that they catch those that did it.

If you can login with your wife's computer but not your own, then you are remembering something incorrectly when you enter it on yours. Send me a PM or an email and I can reset the password to whatever you like. I am also updating your email for you but that would not prevent you from logging in.

Yes I do.

Yea, we did that in Arkansas last year and it's really a good idea. I think I still have my Cinderella created Tweety Bird name badge here. I'll see what I can come up with for everybody else.
