    Does any have a good way to mount a video camera that won't shake? I've mounted to handle bars and to fairing but can't get it smooth enough to watch.

    Thanks for the ideas. The emulsion tubes look fine. My charging gauge shows good, running to the upper end of the normal range. I have a K&N air filter and regularly run Seafoam and Motorkote. I've synced carbs and checked for any vac leaks. It starts and runs fine during normal riding situations. This just showed up while trying to put a Big Dog chopper behind me.(which I did)

    Mine has the same problem. I can move the basket up and down about 1/4 inch. Also can hear the same knocking sound, but it just keeps going. I'm at about 93k. I was told the bearing that holds the clutch shaft need to be replaced. But that requires splitting the case. Guess I'll just ride!!!!

    I'm thinking about buying this engine but would like some input on the sound it's making. I know bikes don't sound right on a video but it's kinda got a knock (maybe) He starts it up toward the end of the video.     Add me the the Motorkote test. My engine (92k) HAD some noise coming from a wore out clutch bearing. Now the knock noise is almost gone and entire sound is better. I am running Castrol 20-50 motorcycle oil. I also put some Motorkote in my truck (159k). It sounds better too.

    Hey yall, I'm looking for a left side passenger foot rest bracket. Don't need the peg or floorboard, just the bracket that mounts to the frame. Thanks.

    Does the sound change when you pull in the clutch? If it does then pull your side cover off to expose the clutch basket. Then grab hold and see if it moves up and down. You might have a bad, or at least worn shaft bearing. It's behind the basket and the case has to be split to change. Mine has done it for 20k miles.

    Mine will slip also. Under hard acceleration in 2nd it pops out just like a MK1. But I know I have a bad clutch shaft bearing(the big one in the case), and 91k on clock.

    I just checked the code no my Avons. 3203!! I bought them about 2 years ago and have out 11,000 miles on them. So far no cracks, splits or anything. I'd better go knock on some wood!!!!

    I spoke to a Kawasaki dealer last week and he told me next April they'll be in his showroom. The price would be between 16,500 and 18,000 depending on extras.
