    I don't know the specific years that the Pillow Top seats were installed on the Ventures. I do know that my 06 came from the Factory with the studded seats. I was ready to go with Custom seats until I had the "Butler Mod" done to mine. I now sit "IN" the seat instead of "ON TOP" the seat.......and 800-1000 mile riding days are a snap! Boomer......who values his butt as much as he does whiskey and errant wimmen.

    Altho I dread Winter I am ready for another Season of suffering. Boomer......who only fills his heating oil tanks once a year.....and did so in August....and bought new snow shovels for the teenage sons too.

    Frost heave of the roads is one of my biggest complaints.....Vermont has the worst I have ever seen in the entire NE Region. Chip seal runs a hot 2nd Place for "clear and present danger" as well. Boomer......who knows if all things posing a threat to bikers was removed from the roads we would own the roads to ourselves.....and most Road Engineers should be tarred/feathered and hung from Red Lights.

    I suffered enough with those Flu shots when I was on Active Duty. No more Goobermint dictated shots for me ever. Boomer......Free at last with a 1911 Colt .45 to back it up.

Wait for the day for this Company who laid you off to call for you back.....and tell em to pound sand.     I'm running a set of Michelin Commanders on the bike now. So far I have nearly 3K on them and they look like new. As for wet weather traction they are far superior to the Dunlop 404's I had previously. A few weeks ago I rode 6 hours in pouring rain up to Vermont at speeds up to 70mph and had NO issues with traction whatsoever. They handled the Vermont twisties with ease as well. Don't know how many miles I will get out of them but so far so good!! Boomer.......who's still hankering to go to the Darkside.

    Saw a fellar in Vermont recently that did that and mounted his on the rear crash guard of his Venture. I don't know how well the chrome on the bottle holder is but for that price ya could slap a new one on every 6 months or so. Boomer........thinking more of whiskey than water for that durn water bottle.

If we could only get that many Riders to show up for a Mission I think the Lieburral Press would surely have to provide coverage and print the TRUTH about who we (PGR) are and why we do what we do Nationwide.     Lucky you bought not only the right Gen of Venture but the right color as well! Boomer........who's Midnight Venture has brought over 32K of riding happiness and caught quite a few nice babes as well......

    That power outlet on the 2nd Gen is no good for use with a cigarette lighter. Works great for powering a GPS tho.......... Boomer........who is still learning from the Pro's here.

    For Winter riding you have to factor in more than tire traction. Personal comfort/safety as well as road conditions should be considered too! If your hands are too cold to function properly you are asking for something bad to happen.....and frost bite to the feet can cost you a few toes as well! Boomer.......who knows some bikers don't have enough common sense to heed any warnings.....and that's why there are Scrap Yards for motorcycles.....and Graveyards.

    The lawnmower today. Tomorrow heading out at 5AM....hook up with several other CT PGR and off we go to Ground Zero in Noo Yawk to grant a Birthday Wish for an 11 year old youngster. Boomer......who's going nowhere near the damn Bronx or Harlem!

    I fully expect to get New Bike Fever.............. IF YAMAHA UPGRADES THE ROYAL STAR VENTURE!!! Boomer..........who knows he may be waiting a long time for the fever to kick in.....because he knows those that eat fish heads,eels, whale blubber,shark testicles,and other weird crap don't care about what us American bikers want.
