LOL!! I'd like to spend time here like I did in the past but that's not gonna happen folks. I never should have retired....I had more time on my hands!! Boomer....who sez don't blame him for dealing with complexities of life.

I'm going to do my best to visit here more than I have in the past year of 2015. I have been busy as all heck since I joined the Sheriff's Department in late 2014. My riding time has also been reduced by a great deal also due to my law enforcement activity. The high note to all this is that I have NOT received ANY Tickets since putting on the badge/uniform! Hope I still have a few friends here!! Boomer....who sez he's not as crazy as he used to be and a lot of Pygmies are behind bars now.

You can take the battery to a local Auto Zone and they will load test the battery for free. If you have a bad cell that battery will never hold a charge. Boomer.....who sez clean up yer terminals with emery cloth before you install the new battery.

I have had those 4-2-4's on previous bikes and IMHO re-packing them is a waste of time and effort. They burn out the packing really QUICK!! Boomer....who sez let the thunder roar!

6 years ago I installed a Odyssey Model PC545-P Gel Battery in my Venture. It finally gave out on me last week and yesterday I installed a brand new Odyssey in the scoot. I believe the battery finally gave out because I was using a standard 12V Battery Charger instead of the Charger Odyssey recommended. The Odyssey folks DO sell a Charger/Trickle Charger specific to their Battery. I now have a new Charger to go with the new Battery. Boomer....who sez good luck in yer choice of Battery replacement....there are many to choose from.

New Orleans is the toilet bowl of Loozeeanner....Gulf Shores has great eating places but all can be a bit pricey. Boomer.....who sez you can find some really nice Condo's with good deals if ya check de Internet.

My assumption is NO. CT is fairly strict on MV enforcement. Boomer....who sez 39 years there was too darn long to tolerate much more.

Brad....As you know I don't allow myself to get close to many people but from day one I just knew that having you and Lonna as friends would be a good deal for me. You two have never let me down in any way and for that I am truly grateful. I can only hope to be as good a friend to you and Lonna as you folks have been to me over the past 4 years. I just replaced my 6 year old AGM battery with another identical AGM. Won't put any other battery into my Venture! Boomer....who sez quality and longevity makes these AGM's the cat's meow.

That's not the case here thankfully. The grandkids have been taught to stay clear of the deep fryer or else PaPa will paddle their behinds! On Black Friday I go to the local Supermarket and load up on frozen turkeys that sell for half price. I deep fry turkeys all year long here so having 15 of em in the freezer works well for us.

Learn how to deep fry a injected turkey in peanut oil. Boomer....who sez you'll never go back to roasted turkey once ya eat deep fried.

If you have feral hogs in your area all ya need is a pile of deer corn on the ground....and a spot close by from which to shoot (25-40 yards from the corn pile). And a 4-wheeler comes in handy for hauling that hog back to your truck!

If it's a sow I field dress it just like a deer and transport it to folks who make our venison sausage. The boars are no good unless ya trap one-castrate him-and put him on good feed for a few months. The boars are REALLY gamey unless ya do all that stuff to him. Here in Loozeeanner you can hunt feral hogs 24/7 as long as ya have a La.Hunting License. I don't know about hunting them on State property. I'm pretty well set using the deer leases I have access to. We have so many down here you can get them day/night. They like to eat from the deer feeders that the deer hunters keep set up with deer corn. I normally hunt them at night tho so as not to disturb the deer hunters. No one can shoot deer at night here in Loozeeanner....unless they want to spend time in jail.

Puc...The boars are not worth eating. The sows are great when used for sausage tho!! I leave the boars for the coyotes and vultures. We are over-run with feral hogs down here. On a good day I can send 10-12 of em to their maker...LOL.

Both my stepson and sister-in-law are avid deer hunters. They each have their own deer lease property's down here. I'm with you Eck....since I came back from Nam I have never pulled the trigger on a deer. Having said that tho I am hell on wheels when it comes to shooting feral hogs!! I normally kill enough (2-3) to make up a good supply of venison sausage which we use all year long. My lever-action 44 magnum rifle makes short work of a hog no matter what size it happens to be. Boomer....who sez a chicken gumbo widdout venison sausage jest ain't right.

It has taken me days to get frum Algeria back to Loozeeanner. Boomer....who has 2 werds for dat Members Map...and it ain't Merry Christmas!!
