    Had a great riding day here as well. Temps 62F....clear skies. Rode with a big group of 30+ Riders. We hit the road at 10AM.....I got home at 6PM just as the sun was calling it a day. No problem riding the 2nd Gen all day long with that Butler Seat Mod..... Boomer........who did not have to bother the Maytag Repairman.

    That is not only a top of the line cig lighter but it will power anything else that is 12V as well. Just remember to run the power line right from your battery with an in-line fuse!! Boomer.....toking down the road I go......

    There are at least a hundred makers of the items you are looking to buy. Best advice I can give you is to (1)first evaluate the amount of riding time you will be doing and (2) remember that you generally get what you pay for. Your riding gear should be of the highest quality to afford you the comfort and protection needed when on the road. This is not the area in which you want to sacrifice quality over dollars.     That video gives me an idea......Take a trailer with a drop down ramp and use a 12V boat trailer winch to get the scoot onto the trailer.It won't be a hands free operation but certainly do-able for 1 person. Boomer.....who won't give up his truck bed for nothing.

    I know you all understand when i say that somtimes you feel like your part of the bike and you can do anything, well when its cold and dark on the first 5 miles just don't handle well. Thats about the best way I can explain it. Can't speak for anyone but myself but I sure understand what you are saying. After having deer,racoons,possums,and errant drunks stumble into the road on night rides I am leery the whole time I ride at night; not just the first 5 miles. I think it is called the "survival instinct" by some of those college edjumahcated head-shrinkers. Boomer........who does not throw caution,whiskey,or wimmen to the wind.

    I see what you're saying.....I have never had a plug come out of CT yet.....whereas that has happened to me 3x's with MC tires.....and THAT is the difference for me. Boomer......who knows that new underwear is not cheap either.

    Probably no difference. I just have a deep distrust in a MC tire that has a plug in it....had a few bad experiences that left more than one scar on the old bod. Boomer.....who has enough scars and bad memories from booze and wild wimmen.

    IMHO being able to plug the CT is just another plus for having it on the rear wheel. I have picked up nails in MC tires that had less than 1K on them and had to junk the darn tire. Boomer.....who will be on the Darkside next year for sure.

    There are areas around here where you can find plenty of arrow heads and pottery from when the Native Americans lived here. Does that count? Boomer......who knows you can find a lot of bones in the desert right outside of Las Vegas too.
