We were just talking about all this at the Skid In, I just had my shock replaced this week, it didnt make any noise, but there was oil always leaking off the shock, it was replaced under warranty with another yamaha shock. I will say the difference in handling is like nite and day. Al Bates said he replaced his with a "Works Performance Shock" made to your specs, maybe he will see:mo money: this or you can PM him.   2. The blinkers mount rite under the passing lamps on the same bar, the bar mounts rite under the headlite using the 2 bolt holes that are there. The mechanical part doesnt take very long, its the wiring that takes some time. You should get a spacer block for the lite bar, I think BMW, a member here still makes them or there may be others who do. It will enable you to take the fairing off without removing the lite bar next time. Also be carefull to route the wires away from steering head locks as they pinch and cut easily.   9. My first car was a 63 corvair convert. 4sp great little car, had it all "hopped up" headers and glass packs it was loud as hell, had a blast in that thing. Craig
