    A group in Kansas shipped 14 bikes to Frankfurt Germany back in 2000. We rode around Europe (7 countries) for 16 days, then shipped them home. :cool10:

    Malcom Smith become my hero after watching that movie about a dozen times. That movie came out in the beginning of my moto-cross career and all the local racers watched it many times. Sometimes twice in the same night.

    Probably a bent shift fork. No easy fix besides getting into the transmission.

    I've never had a tag on my trailer. I've been a few places and have always pulled a trailer. Have never had a bit of trouble regarding lack of tag on the trailer.

    True, a 6 volt battery, 4 MAP sensors, four cheeeep multimeters, some tubing and a little wire. Done. :cool10:

    On my suburban, the spark electrode is also the flame detector. It didn't like having a mud dabber nest on it. Same results as yours.

    I haven't had my Terraplane on my '89, but I did on my '84. I'll take some pictures of the mounting brackets I converted. There's a Vetter installation manual on the internet, I saw it the other day. Vetter has a web site that has mounting info on it. There's a Terraplane group on Yahoo. Google it.

    Sounds like a bad ground on the rear lights.

    I doubt if you will notice any difference. You had a little loss of power at 6K and you'll have twice that little loss at 12K.

    Grease zerks are good. I greased my bike a couple of weeks ago. 7 zerks took about 3 minutes including getting the gun.:cool10:

    I've good luck with my ME880s. I found 5 out in the shed. I'd take a buck a piece for them.:whistling: One probably when to Alaska and back, one to Nova Scotia and back, so they may have so wear on them.

    Yeah, but that is at 5 v. At 12 v it's going to be about three times as much for a short period of time.

    I've been NOB several times and have never had a tag on the trailer. Just saying.

    There was a company that made a Firestik fiberglass cb antenna for motorcycles etc. http://www.firestik.com/CatalogFrame.htm You might try them.

    It supposed to be on the center stand to set the pressure. It really helps if theres all ready some pressure in the system, makes the bike higher.
