Kinda makes you feel good that these nice guys were treated so well. Glad to know the bikers were so friendly and invited the intruders to the party.

Good luck with your new Ford!! Some have great luck with them. All I can say is any Ford pickup I have drove/rode in have the most uncomfortable seats known to man, and burn fuel like there's no tomorrow. Wouldn't keep one if it was given to me. They ALL need their headlights aimed, because even on low beam they absolutely blind oncoming drivers at night. By the way I think the new Ford pickups look good compared to the earlier models, but that's as far as it goes.

You know what they say about Poulan... you poul, an you poul, an you poul,.... But seriously Stihl and Husqvarna have been rated back and forth as #1 and #2 in the world for years. Both are excellent saws and comes down to personal preference and dealer support/availability. I personally have had fantastic luck with my Husky and from servicing both brands in my shop, I prefer Husqvarna for ease of service. I'm sure you will not regret your purchase.

I was thinking if the round discs are just over an inch in diameter, they are weights for adjusting the engagement rpm of an old Powerbloc snowmobile clutch. Back in the '80s Powerbloc had weights that could be adjusted by adding or removing discs to set the engagement rpm and max rpm under load. I still have an old Skiroule with Powerbloc clutch on it.

But I believe he said his machine is a 1997. Does that not make it a Gen 2?

Glad you don't have more injuries than you do. Heal first, there will be time to worry about the bike later.

There are a couple of places that sell Starbucks coffee. I tried it and can't handle that stuff. Strong enough to dissolve a stainless spoon!

They are a good idea, but should have 12 gauge wire instead of 16. Then I would run 12 gauge wire the entire length of the headlight circuit and install a 100/60w bulb. -

Sure the fairing has changed a bit, but in my opinion other than the engine and no trunk, its not that much different than an RSV. Its the same basic concept with fork mounted fairing, which I personally do not like the looks of. As another member already stated, "beauty is in the eye of the beholder". -
Nice to know there is still some good dealers out there. Helps make up for the rip off artists.
